Responsibilities:As a subject matter expert, you will;Use/maintain geological models to conduct and document reservoir characterization work-flows via generating cross sections from well logs, maps, cores, cross plots, histograms, summary tables, and written reports for different stratigraphic intervals to recommend placement of wells and supplementary processes to enhance production.Evaluate current practices and identify opportunities for innovative improvements using data science applications to predict reservoir quality.Actively participate in the well planning process to optimize well locations using a variety of geological and geophysical data.Monitor and trac wells, performing well evaluations during and post frac jobs, generating and/or updating maps for structural, stratigraphic, fluid limits in light of new drilling and flowback information.Provide geological input into generation of appraisal and development plans for resource assessment and development optimization.Work closely with drilling, production and reservoir engineering teams and champion operational activities from planning to execution.Effectively communicate through presentations to technical peers and management teams to enhance in-house knowledge.Provide support, recommendations and advise in the area of expertise.Mentor and develop newly hired and young professionals.Requirements:As the successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related science, however an advanced degree is preferred.You must have at least 8 years or more of experience and active technical roles, with at least 5 years in shale unconventional plays, we will consider candidates with more or less experience, depending on the quality of their experience.You will also have;Experience in building, maintaining and evaluating large and complex geological models utilizing geological modeling software.Working knowledge in the integration of sedimentology, depositional environments, petrophysics, geophysics, geochemistry, geomechanics and well placement. Experience working with the production and drilling teams on well performance and optimization.Previous experience working with reservoir engineers and reserve auditors to determine reserve and resource estimations is preferred.

ResponsibilitiesConduct reservoir characterization studies, including Log-to-core integration, mapping, sequence stratigraphy and conceptual 3D geological modeling (Facies and reservoir properties).Contribute to field development plans through well planning using simulation ready 3D integrated model.Perform well planning, including creating well targets data with reservoir and drilling engineers, generating well trajectories and loading the directional data, preparing geological prognosis (including but not limited to tops, cross sections and correlation panels) along with monitor operational and geo-steering activities for all types of wells (horizontal, deviated, and vertical) in the office or offsite if needed, including monitoring, geo-steering and tracking wells, performing well evaluations while and post drilling, making well correlations, generating and/or updating maps for structural, stratigraphic and fluid limits in light of the new drilling information, and making critical decisions for wellbore adjustments.Interact with concerned geoscientists in the Reservoir Characterization Department, Reservoir Engineers, and Drilling & Workover Engineers and communicate clearly with all parties involved in drilling activities, and prepare post-drilling analysis.Requirements As a successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from a recognized and approved program, an advanced degree is preferred.You will have 15  years of experience in Field development activities or role of development geologist.You will have the ability to integrate all available Geological, Geophysical, Petrophysical, Sedimentological, and 3D Geological model and other dynamic information for advance reservoir characterization studies to in-depth understanding for reservoir architecture and flow behavior.You will also have the ability to integrate all characterization studies to identify suitable locations for drilling.Extensive experience in subsurface mapping and be familiar of utilization of various geological applications and packages (such as DSG, Petrel, Petrosys, Geolog, Teclog etc.) is also necessary.Also, a minimum of two years’ experience in geo-steering (with triple combo log) and real-time operations is preferred.You need to be familiar with LWD and/or wireline borehole image interpretation and also with rig operations and vendor logging systems.Previous experience in reservoir geology, drilling operations, field development, sedimentology/stratigraphy or structural geology is necessary

Role Description:We are seeking a Senior Data Manager and Analyst to join the Exploration Geospatial & Data Management Solutions Division of Exploration.The Exploration Geospatial & Data Management Solutions Division is responsible for overseeing the development and use of data systems within our client.In addition, ensuring effective data management, formulating data capturing, governance, quality, analytics as well as automation techniques.Also, managing Exploration’s structured, unstructured and geospatial data.The data analyst’s primary role is to visualize and interpret data, analyze results and take steps to ensure that the data is governed and of good quality.Responsibilities:Create and enforce policies for effective data management.Design data visualization solutions to monitor structured, unstructured and geospatial data and track Exploration business processes.Champion development and deployment of data analytics solutions to support business decision making.Assist with technical reports and data structuring when neededPerform data exploration and analysis to detect data quality and integrity issues, provide solutions to measure and correct defects.Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis, to enhance data integrity and security, with attention to all technical aspectsContribute to Exploration data business processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements.Lead and manage projects that support the digital transformation.Conduct meetings with Exploration business stakeholders and gather data management requirements.Serve as a data management representative and facilitate communication between the application developers and business stakeholders.Mentor young professionals.Requirements:As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field from a recognized and approved program.You will have a minimum of 10 years professional experience in data analysis or data management, preferably in the oil and gas exploration industry.You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the DAMA data management framework. CDMP certification is preferred.You must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.Knowledge of relational and/or dimensional database models is also necessary. You must be able to write complex SQL queries.Experience with big data is preferred.Experience with BI/data analytics software is preferred.Experience with geology and geophysics software is preferred.Understanding of enterprise data architecture is preferred.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Perform data collection, collation and analysis.Assess and identify appropriate locations for new production wells.Design water well completions and supervise the drilling process in the field.Design and conduct pumping tests in the field, and analyze the data in the office.Provide advice on borehole maintenance and optimizing well yield.Assess water quality issues in production wells. Provide detailed hydrogeological investigations including technical reports and letters summarizing the findings, conclusions and make recommendations.Requirements:As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology/Earth Sciences from a recognized and approved program.Master’s degree (or higher) in hydrogeology or related sciences is preferred.You will have ten years experience in hydrogeology, including at least five years in water well design, completion, water well testing, analysis and interpretation.You will have a solid hydrogeological background on groundwater resources assessment, groundwater conceptualization, monitoring network design and management and hydrochemical characterization of aquifers.Knowledge of map contouring methods and map generation is a requirement.Understanding of groundwater modeling platforms and knowledge of numerical and analytical methods in aquifer modeling for flow, transport and density is preferred.You will be able to demonstrate ability and willingness to mentor co-workers in applying hydrogeological principles to conduct hydrogeological studies and investigations.You will also have knowledge of current industry trends, practices and technologies in hydrogeology.

Role Description:We are seeking a Safety Engineer focusing on Drilling & Workover Operations to join the Loss Prevention organization (LP), which is the corporate safety organization. We provide both day-to-day in-field occupational and process safety support to operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting function. Our field offices are located in Abqaiq, Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Dhahran, Udhailiyah, Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan), and Tanajib. Through these offices, LP provides its services to all facilities and departments that are located throughout the Kingdom.The primary role as a Safety Engineer (Loss Prevention Engineer) is to is to provide daily support to upstream organizations to provide field and office safety support to manage safety in petroleum engineering, exploration, drilling and workover related activities, including unconventional resources and seismic operations.Responsibilities: As the successful candidate, you will have the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to:Facilitate implementation of the Safety Management System, as well as its objectives and expectations, including developing associated safety processes, and participating in self-assessments.Inspect to onshore and offshore drilling rigs, workover equipment, and other support facilities and have in-depth knowledge of well control equipment and procedures (i.e., attended Basic Well Control School).Identify, evaluate, recommend actions, and follow up on critical, yet universal safety tasks and control methodologies related to operational safety practices (e.g., work at height, isolation/LOTO, permit to work, hydrogen sulfide, confined space entry, excavations).Participate in safety studies/activities using risk assessment and mitigation methodologies, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys.Develop and/or review corporate safety standards, instructions and procedures related to upstream operations and formalize them into company-documented practices as required.Review designs of oil and gas field facilities for compliance with company and industry safety standards.Assist in the development of Emergency Response Plans for credible scenarios. Attend emergency drills as observer and provide feedback.Respond to emergency situations and incidents, either during or after regular working hours, to provide technical assistance and advice.Support the reporting, classification and investigation all incidents, and participating in incident investigations, determination of root causes, and proper recommendations to prevent recurrence.Deliver Loss Prevention-specific training to employees, contractors, and outside parties.Mentor other LP personnel.Requirements:As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline from an Accredited Institution, and seven years of relevant oil and gas upstream industry experience, including a strong track record in delivering results.  This would include areas such as: Drilling & Workover operations; well planning and approval; reservoir management; geology and geophysics; project management for upstream facilities development; oil & gas field development; simultaneous operations (SIMPOS) between upstream and construction/downstream operations; offshore and onshore drilling rig safety inspections; managerial audits/assessments; and safety program and emergency response plans development.You will have an excellent ability to communicate in English with peers as well as members of management and be able to produce clear and concise oral and written reports in English.Have a working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS).Working Environment:Our high-performing employees are drawn by the challenging and rewarding professional, technical and industrial opportunities we offer, and are remunerated accordingly.Our people work on truly world-scale projects, supported by investment in capital and technology that is second to none. Responsibilities:The candidate will be required to perform the following:Exploration mapping and option generation for CO2 storage in the subsurface geology of Saudi Arabia.Have a background of CO2 properties and how they relate to depth of storage, seal effectiveness and long-term aspects of trapping mechanism, subsurface dynamics and interaction with subsurface materials such as lithologies and drilled wells.Interpret well information, making well correlations and working with petro-physicists as required to define stratigraphic frameworks and the properties of reservoirs and seals, and characterize in-situ formation water properties.Participate in the acquisition planning and possibly interpretation of geo-mechanical information, such as analysis of conventional core, relating to seal integrity for CO2 storage.Familiarity with well injection testing and operations, and interpretation of well test data in terms of reservoir performance in relation to CO2 storage.Interpret seismic, including seismic stratigraphic interpretations for storage. Understand depth conversion of seismically-mapped geological surfaces, considering velocity information and uncertainties.Map making using industry standard tools. Storage volume and risk estimates. Prepare and present professional-quality presentation materials to technical peers and management. Provide mentoring and technical assistance to young professionalsTake critical decisions and solve problems.Works in multidiscipline teams.Requirements:As a successful candidate, you would need to hold a bachelor or higher degree in Geology or Geophysics.You will have 15 years of experience in subsurface geoscience including several years of experience specifically related to geological interpretation, mapping and preferably CO2 subsurface storage option mapping, selection and site characterization, including extensive experience in applying Clastic and Carbonate Sequence and Seismic Stratigraphy and Regional Geology using seismic and well data to document all scales relevant subsurface storage option generation, ranking and characterization.as well as an extensive experience in petro-technical applications relating to the use of wells and seismic (2D and 3D) for subsurface storage geoscience, e.g., Petrel, Petrosys.  You will be competent with basic well log interpretation and familiar with advanced logs and well data such as image logs, NMR, pressures and core. Apply sequence stratigraphic techniques to identify storage opportunities.  Structural geology skills including fault interpretation and fault seal.As a subject matter expert, you will have:Experience in planning and involvement with the operational decision-making of several wells.English language fluency with the capability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing, with experience of working with multidisciplinary teams across different parts of an organization.Experience of other non-hydrocarbon subsurface management challenges such as geothermal, Hydrogen storage, chemical storage etc would be an advantage.A track record of research publications or patents would be an advantage.Excellent presentation skills.
