Role Description: <ul><li>Assistant Manager, Finance and Accounting, IndiaOver</li><li>The Assistant Accounting Manager, India is the key Finance &amp; Accounting contact for all operations in India.&nbsp;</li><li>Key responsibilities will include compliance with all local financial regulation, preparation and delivery of the&nbsp;statutory accounts for the India entity, filing of VAT submissions, income tax filings, managing statutory and&nbsp;other audits etc.</li><li>This role will be based in India, and will report directly to the Controller, EMEA and Asia/Pacific&nbsp;Regions</li><li>The Assistant Accounting Manager will also be responsible for all contacts with local authorities, both for Finance as&nbsp;well as tax matters and other (statistical/Central bank reporting etc).</li><li>He/she will work in close collaboration with the&nbsp;external auditors and the tax team to this effect but will also have a direct connect with the Finance&nbsp;</li><li>Organization including treasury and AR/AP support where necessary.</li><li>With a sound understanding of the local entity underlying business, he/she will support an effective control environment and have a key role in the delivery of all controllership activities relative to the legal entity under his/her responsibility.</li><li>This includes Financial Accounting, Reporting and InternalControls.</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Main country contact for Finance and Accounting in India</li><li>Key business partner for regional leadership where necessary</li><li>Main contact to local authorities re. different financial matters, including tax and treasury related matters.</li><li>Support the Finance organization during month-end closing activities</li><li>Analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement for entities under responsibility</li><li>Other compliance matters (e.g. Statistical/Central bank reporting)</li><li>Provide support for accounting matters related to projects with implications for the entities under responsibility</li><li>Support execution and maintenance of effective Internal Controls in line with the internal policies</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance</li><li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience</li><li>Strong knowledge of statuary tax fillings and financial reporting requirements</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing or chemical industry preferred</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP software (S4 HANA)</li><li>Based in Vadodara, Gujarat&nbsp;</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Providing leadership to both APAC and EMEA rate audit/invoice verification teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure that the optimal workload is assigned to each resource and the day to day services are delivered without compromising quality.&nbsp;</li><li>Process accurate and timely payment through review and audit of out of tolerance supplier invoices.&nbsp;</li><li>Reduce invoice that are out of tolerance by performing analysis to determine solution recommendations.&nbsp;</li><li>Correspond effectively and responsively with suppliers regarding their invoice status.&nbsp;</li><li>This position will require that the applicant have the ability to work across time-zones with other company offices. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Maintain hazard classification, safety assessments and/or other relevant changes of EMN dossier submissions in IUCLID to ECHA (European Chemicals Agency),&nbsp;official External Use bodies of individual EU Member States PCN (Poison Centers) and SCIP in accordance with the CLP Regulation.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform, interpret, and communicate EU regulatory impact assessments for all business units.</li><li>Help manage all incoming messages and actions for all company Legal Entities set up in REACH IT</li><li>Communicate relevant information to the Global PSRA team, relevant stakeholders, or authorities for ALL registration of company products in EU, Turkey,&nbsp;China, Korea etc.</li><li>Communicate new and changed tonnages of EMN registrations to Global Compliance Systems Data Management (GCSDM) for SVT tracking.</li><li>Submit relevant information for the notification of company products under the UK REACH.</li><li>Support in proper risk management measures on chemical risk assessments of EMN registrations.</li><li>Manage communications with consortia management/consultants on EMN registrations.</li><li>Support on Exposure Scenarios of mixtures and provide the Hazard Communication Department with the relevant information for the preparation of extended&nbsp;Safety Data Sheets</li><li>Assist Product Stewardship Inquiries team in answering REACH related questions.</li><li>Any other Product stewardship and regulatory affairs related tasks that may be assigned.</li><li>Expected to have a general overview of what’s happening in all EMN business units.</li><li>Develop SOPs, new tools, and initiatives to improve overall efficiency of the teams’ processes.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>A minimum of a college/university bachelor’s degree in/related to science</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience</li></ul>
