The Role:Responsible for establishing and driving the SSA sourcing strategy and initiatives, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services to support the organizations operational needs. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement cost saving measures while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the overall success of the Region by securing competitive advantages through effective procurement practices. Support the alternative energy sourcing strategy in alignment with global and regional sustainability goals. Develop and implement localization, indigenization, and preferential procurement processes. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Develop and implement manufacturing processes for wire harness assembly.</li><li>Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.</li><li>Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process failures.</li><li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles.</li><li>Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff.</li><li>Prepare and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and standards.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).</li><li>5+ years of experience in manufacturing and process development, specifically in wire harness or related fields.</li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean methodologies.</li><li>Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.</li></ul>
