The Role:The objective of the Field Sales Executive (Business Development) is to grow the company revenue, profitability and trading base through achieving a forwarding sales target on an area specific basis. The incumbent will administer field sales plans and processes to achieve revenue growth, enhance customer retention and acquisition, and increase lead conversion for a defined geographic location in line with the SSA Commercial business strategy, financial objectives and company policies. Coordinating and facilitating training sessions, workshops, webinars, and other learning activities.</li><li>Overseeing the creation of training materials and resources.</li><li>Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.</li><li>Conduct regular assessments of supply chain performance across all functions to identify strengths and areas for improvement.</li><li>Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.</li><li>Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure stability and resilience.</li></ul> ﻿Requirements: <ul><li>Role is 40% tactical &amp; 60% strategic</li><li>Report to Director of Supply Chain Transformation for DDN</li><li>A bachelors or masters degree in supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field</li><li>Proven experience (10+ years) in supply chain management, continuous improvement, or related roles.</li><li>Strong numeracy and analytical skills.</li><li>Able to translate data into high-level analysis.</li><li>Experience in developing and implementing audit processes.</li><li>Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and tools.</li><li>Excellent leadership as well as Change and project management skills.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.</li><li>Influencing skills (build relationship, mentor, work under pressure)</li><li>Proven experience in delivering training programs.</li><li>Experience in building and maintaining a network of supply chain professionals, fostering knowledge-sharing, and facilitating collaboration.</li><li>Strong knowledge and experience in supply chain management (areas such as supply planning, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution), best practices, and industry trends on a global scale.</li><li>Knowledge of supply chain management systems &amp; Tools (MES, ERP, …)</li></ul>
