The Role:Responsible for establishing and driving the SSA sourcing strategy and initiatives, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services to support the organizations operational needs. Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement cost saving measures while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the overall success of the Region by securing competitive advantages through effective procurement practices. Support the alternative energy sourcing strategy in alignment with global and regional sustainability goals. Develop and implement localization, indigenization, and preferential procurement processes. For our Illicit Trade Prevention’s (ITP) team, based in London, we are currently looking for a Senior Analyst ITP Forensics

This role holder will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in tobacco products and Smoke Free Products (SFP) (incl. Illicit products) forensics and fulfill PMI’s legal and court requirements as Intellectual Property (IP) right holder. While contributing to the development of innovative methodologies, features and tools to protect and authenticate PMI products, generating product intelligence on illicit products to support ITP strategies and activities, and law enforcement investigations and litigation actions.

Key accountabilities:

Product authentication: perform PMI products authentication within a timely and satisfactory manner, for both our combustible (CC) and smoke free (SFP) category.
Product Intelligence:
perform product analyses, from Empty Pack Surveys’ samples to investigations and evidence materials, as well as from consumer complaints, test purchases, SFP device returns, in-market sampling, SFP recycling hubs, etc.
Product Forensics and Investigative support: perform forensics evaluation of samples of potentially illicit tobacco products stemming from various sources.
Organize and perform onsite inspections of raided illegal factories (manufacturing premises), aiming to support authorities in the fight against illicit manufacturing of tobacco products (incl. CC and SFP).
Trigger or support follow-up actions.
Represent the company in various events, incl. witness hearings or other legal proceedings, acting as PMI’s SME in product authentication and forensics.
Perform enhanced profiling of illicit products (“grouping”), aiming to support ongoing investigations or provide product intelligence to internal and external partners.
Product Security Features (PSF): use in practice PMI PSFs and verify their functionality, providing factual and constructive feedback on their presence and effectiveness to the supervisors or personnel in charge.
Supplier Liaison Program (SLP): support or contribute to the process by collecting information, gathering evidence and materials as part of ongoing forensics activities (e.g., factory raids follow-ups, company checks etc.).
SFP:
Actively contribute to protecting the consumer journey and the fast-evolving product lifecycle and distribution models, by analyzing samples stemming from manufacturing through distribution to sales, and its reverse logistics (returns and recycling).
Provide SME expertise for the new products in PMI’s portfolio, incl. launches and markets resulting from PMI business agreements, mergers or acquisitions.
Supply Chain Integrity: actively support and contribute to the process of fulfillment of PMI regulatory or internal obligations included in PMI’s Anti-Diversion programs. By responding to external and internal partners requests for technical expertise and product forensics,
Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) through technical assistance:
deliver, support and / or assist in technical training program deliverables to law enforcement authorities aiming at building their capability in tackling illicit trade.
Support building the “external engagement corridors” for further follow-up actions.
Industry Technical Alliance: contribute to process by ensuring the relevant technical information, samples and forensics info availability, when applicable.
Forensics IT Systems: contribute to maintenance and continuous improvements process of ITP system(s) in place.
3rd party support personnel supervision: supervise and coordinate a potential pool of external vendors or service providers contracted for support in product authentication, inspections, and analyses (incl. EPS pack analysis).
We are looking for someone with;

University (master or bachelor degree), preferably in Technical Sciences.
Strong experience in the tobacco industry or other consumer goods industry, preferably in product forensics at the anti-counterfeit / anti-illicit trade department or similar.
Know-how of technical examination techniques for products and forensics evaluation, incl. chemical and qualitative analysis methodologies and external laboratories network.
Knowledge of SFPs and vaping products, incl. electronics, SFP consumables and oral products category.
Project Management - Certified project management skills, incl. international and cross-functional projects coordination and supervision.
People Management - Supervision and daily coordination of the external vendors and subcontractors / external inspectors.

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Responsible for Molding Process, Tool Design development, (New &amp; Old tools) Qualification and Trial</li><li>Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout</li><li>Participate and engage on product development, Tool Design, DFMEA / PFMEA</li><li>Work with Global COE Assembly to drive continuous improvement in Molding Technology / Process</li><li>Maintain proper documentation and for all Mold tooling, Spares, Mold and Process Set-up Sheets</li><li>Ensure all Tooling / Mold design drawings (Soft &amp; Hard Copy) are up to date.</li><li>Impart trainings and development for new joiners, Technical Trainees etc</li><li>Multi skilling among, Stamping tool design and Mould tool design&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinating with inter-department and assists with investigations of reject product and the development of corrective actions.</li><li>Drive company OA culture in shop floor.</li><li>Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer for new product development and process improvement.</li><li>Assessing resource requirements and opportunity for Automation and Process Productivity improvement</li><li>Review of company OA deployment</li><li>Review ISO documents and update</li><li>Engage in ISO audits</li><li>Visit vendors for Assembly tooling assessment (Capability, Know How &amp; Capacity)</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering major or Industrial Engineering</li><li>3-5+ years’ experience and practitioner in the Tooling Design &amp; Development</li><li>CAD Knowledge Must, preferably Pro E / Creo &amp; Auto-cad, Solidworks, NX, etc.</li><li>DFM analysis, New Mold / Tooling RFQ</li><li>Stamping Tool Debugging</li><li>Computer Knowledge, MS Office etc, SAP knowledge added advantage</li><li>Tool Room Process’s</li><li>Tooling Knowledge</li><li>Know How on core competencies (Stamping, Tool Design, Auto- Assy is an added advantage)</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Generate and maintain project documentation including schematics, drawings, test data, and reports</li><li>Design and develop electronic circuits while incorporating mechanical design</li><li>Tasks will include using equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and additional test equipment</li><li>Plan and record results of design, development and sustaining activities, including validation testing.</li><li>Design to cost target while meeting financial and performance expectations.</li><li>Manage Bill of Materials for new products.</li><li>Facilitate cost reduction activities on new and existing products.</li><li>Perform calculations, analysis, and testing to ensure that a product meets specifications.</li><li>Participate in and/or lead Design and Process failure mode and effects analysis.</li><li>Provide support to both internal manufacturing, quality, Product/Project Managers and external customers.</li><li>Initiate and manage engineering change activities. Including notification to customers using external customer systems.</li><li>Collaborates with other colleagues and peers.</li><li>10% travel domestic/international (Passport will be required).</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, electronic or electro-mechanical degree 3-5 years of experience Experience circuit design, testing, and troubleshooting.</li><li>Experience in mechanical design Knowledge of electro-mechanical devices and/or magnetics (e.g., relays and contactors).</li><li>Knowledge of EMI/EMC is a plus.</li><li>Good communication verbal and written.</li><li>Experience in the use of Creo Wildfire software or similar CAD software Windchill PDM Link is a plus Knowledge of SAP is a plus Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of analog circuitry is preferred Knowledge of circuit analysis software such as TINA or SPICE Knowledge of ANSYS or similar analysis tools is a bonus Experience in Altium software or similar software is a bonus.</li><li>Proficient in MS Office Suite of Products Ability to read schematic diagrams Generate and maintain project documentation including schematics, drawings, test data, and reports Design and develop electronic circuits while incorporating mechanical design Tasks will include using equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and additional test equipment Plan and record results of design, development and sustaining activities, including validation testing.</li><li>Design to cost target while meeting financial and performance expectations.
