Role Description: <ul><li>Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical/Controls Technician to join our pharmaceutical operations team. </li><li>The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical control systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processes. </li><li>This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.&nbsp;</li></ul> Responsibilities:&nbsp; Installation and Maintenance:&nbsp; <ul><li>Install and maintain electrical control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.&nbsp;</li><li>Test and validate electrical control systems during commissioning and upgrades.&nbsp;</li></ul> Troubleshooting and Repairs:&nbsp; <ul><li>Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and software to identify root causes of system failures.&nbsp;</li><li>Repair or replace faulty components, including relays, sensors, actuators, and circuit boards.&nbsp;</li></ul> System Optimization:&nbsp; <ul><li>Program, configure, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) to improve system performance and efficiency.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical control systems for process improvements and new projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct system performance tests to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.&nbsp;</li></ul> Documentation and Compliance:&nbsp; <ul><li>Maintain accurate documentation of electrical control systems, including wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all activities comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, and other regulatory guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in audits and provide technical expertise regarding control systems and maintenance records.&nbsp;</li></ul> Safety and Training:&nbsp; <ul><li>Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all electrical work complies with NFPA, OSHA, and company standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct risk assessments for electrical systems and implement appropriate safety measures.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide technical training to maintenance personnel on electrical systems and best practices.&nbsp;</li></ul> Collaboration:&nbsp; <ul><li>Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure electrical systems support manufacturing requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively with equipment vendors and contractors for system upgrades and troubleshooting.&nbsp;</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Education: Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in electrical controls, automation, or instrumentation, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.&nbsp;</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control wiring, and instrumentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial networks.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of GMP and regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry.&nbsp;</li></ul> Certifications: <ul><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., Journeyman Electrician, ISA Technician Certification) are a plus.&nbsp;</li></ul> Key Competencies:&nbsp; <ul><li>Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.&nbsp;</li></ul>

About role <ul><li>As a Manager, Embedded Software Engineering, you will be responsible for managing Platform developments requiring software development (embedded software, firmware) for the sensor products to grow the sensors portfolio serving the Industrial &amp; Medical markets.&nbsp;</li><li>This leader will build and lead a high-performing team of engineers that will engage with Global and Regional Engineering Teams in various Centers of Expertise all around the world.</li><li>The Manager, Embedded Software Engineering will engage and work with internal cross-functional engineering teams across the globe as well collaborate with internal and external technical partners of engineering teams/NPI teams. He/She will need to be comfortable, experienced, and adept working across time zones, geographical and organizational boundaries as well as ambiguity.</li><li>The Manager, Embedded Software Engineering will leverage a structured and systematic approach, applying best practices and Lean Product Development principles such as Front Loading, Risk Detection &amp; Countermeasures and Set Based Concurrent Engineering … all to ensure programs meet technical, performance &amp; product cost requirements, are completed on time and within the project budget.</li><li>The ideal candidate would be a highly experienced leader with vast experience developing and successfully delivering software in the industrial or medical markets, former Senior Design Engineer/Technologist, or a Senior Software Architect.&nbsp;</li><li>Also having experience of design for functional safety applications in Lean Product Development and DFSS frameworks, he/she can be proficient in IEC 61508 Functional Safety Standards. The Manager, Embedded Software Engineering, will bring know-how in CI/CD and highly efficient/automized agile developing processes&nbsp;</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Leading IMS Sensor software development team, mainly working on software architecture, System and Software Design, Software development, CI/CD and Testing. Analyzing and elicit stakeholder (internal/external) requirements to generate software requirement.</li><li>Leading all aspects of the software development life cycle:</li><li>Requirements capture</li><li>Feasibility study and architecture definition</li><li>Software design and implementation</li><li>Integration and unit/validation testing</li><li>Ensure the link between the SW architecture and the SW development</li><li>&nbsp;Facilitate collaboration with international development teams</li><li>Leader of the software project team to develop new products/processes using DFSS tools &amp; techniques and software metrics</li><li>He/She will have to perform architecture and requirement review, challenging their consistency, maturing change request, and analyzing their risks and impacts</li><li>Work with hardware and project team to propose the hardware / software roadmap for the future, enabling SIL and cost reduction. Responsibilities:As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:Use your knowledge in various SAP transactions to perform regular planner duty that includes, but is not limited to, opening/initiating internal orders, notifications, maintenance work-orders, planning the activities with required resources, ordering the materials, and track all maintenance activities within your respective area.Plan for equipment isolation and safety precautions and estimate job step craft man-hour requirements.Prepare weekly and daily schedules by reviewing backlog and coordinating work requirements to comply with operation rankings.Ensure availability of all resources required are met and available, prior to scheduling work, and obtain approval of the schedule updates maintenance order statuses & follows up until completion of orders.Monitor the progress of the maintenance on a daily basis and give feedback to maintenance supervisor and supporting the execution team.Ensure the history is updated and technically completed on all works orders prior to closing them.Ensure onsite availability of all materials, manpower and service requirements.Process the return of all support equipment and machines (i.e. crane, forklift, air compressor, flood glitch, etc.)Daily contact/coordination with concerned parties that includes Operations Foremen, Maintenance Supervisors and personnel to clarify work scopes on Maintenance Work Orders, required resources, status update, and the path forward.Prepare detailed job step plans in proper execution sequence, with details of craft man-hour and crew size requirements for each step.Requirements:You should have a minimum of 11 years maintenance experience, including at least three years devoted to planning of maintenance jobs.You must have high school certification.
