The Role:The objective of the Field Sales Executive (Business Development) is to grow the company revenue, profitability and trading base through achieving a forwarding sales target on an area specific basis. The incumbent will administer field sales plans and processes to achieve revenue growth, enhance customer retention and acquisition, and increase lead conversion for a defined geographic location in line with the SSA Commercial business strategy, financial objectives and company policies. Interpersonal skills to work across functions.</li><li>A mind creative enough to identify and recommend corrective actions is a desirable.&nbsp;</li><li>People Management experience.&nbsp;</li></ul> Sufficient / in depth, knowledge of: <ul><li>Computer literacy including good command on Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>SAP.</li><li>Six sigma or LEAN manufacturing.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Act as the focal point of contact for technical resolutions while managing the incident, problem and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope</li><li>Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues</li><li>Manage 3rd party product vendors and integration partners to ensure application code fix deliveries are timely and good quality</li><li>Develop, Test, maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization</li><li>Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing</li><li>Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation</li><li>Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods, tools, people, architecture, project management and governance</li></ul> ﻿Requirements: <ul><li>At least 6 years’ experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology</li><li>Proficient in IBM AS400 platform, RPG, CL programming, ALDON •	Good understanding and experience in of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or AGILE</li><li>Well-versed in-service management/production support</li><li>Knowledge of Silverlake’s banking software suite</li><li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain; Additional professional/technical qualifications will be advantageous although not mandatory</li><li>Pro-active in contributing to your teams’ technical knowledge, by identifying training needs or requirements for yourself individually and for the team</li><li>Adopt an uncompromising attitude when it comes to quality and help raise bar of products and team members</li><li>Proactive team member who communicates effectively and professionally with both internal and external customers</li><li>Identify ideas to improve system performance and impact availability</li><li>Make good technical decisions that provide solutions to business challenges in core banking</li><li>Possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills while exercising good judgment</li><li>Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to translate functional specifications into technological solutions</li><li>Multi-task and change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure</li><li>Be able to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements</li></ul>
