DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provision, configure, and manage core Azure resources, such as virtual machines, storage accounts, and networks.</li><li>Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management.</li><li>Configure and enforce role-based access control (RBAC), policies, and security protocols.</li><li>Ensure the integrity of data through encryption and secure networking, including firewalls and network security groups.</li><li>Manage backup strategies using Azure Backup, ensuring system reliability and minimal downtime.</li><li>Design and implement secure virtual networks, including subnets, VPNs, and ExpressRoute for hybrid cloud environments.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Has overall 8+ years of IT experience in Microsoft Technologies Microsoft Azure, .Net and Azure DevOps.</li><li>Experience in design, architect and implementing the Azure infra as a new data center, migration of workloads, providing Backup &amp; Restore and DR solutions</li><li>Strong hands on experience on Azure Cloud Administration.</li><li>Excellent Technical, Analytical and Problem-Solving skills and ability to get on well with people</li><li>Involve in RFP and provide technical solutions for Azure related, Bill of materials and effort estimates</li><li>Strong knowledge on PowerShell scripts and ARM Templates</li><li>	Public Sector experience and GCC experience is must.</li></ul> Working Experience: <ul><li>Experience in design, architect and implementing the Azure infra as a new data center, migration of workloads, providing Backup &amp; Restore and DR solutions</li><li>Strong hands on experience on Azure Cloud Administration.</li><li>Excellent Technical, Analytical and Problem-Solving skills and ability to get on well with people</li><li>Involve in RFP and provide technical solutions for Azure related, Bill of materials and effort estimates</li><li>Strong knowledge on PowerShell scripts and ARM Templates</li><li>Public Sector experience and GCC experience is must.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS or Google Cloud.</li><li>Ensure compliance with asset management regulations in relevant countries.</li><li>Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud solutions.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues promptly.</li><li>Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.</li><li>Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.</li><li>Managing cloud environments in accordance with company policies and security guidelines.</li><li>Developing, deploying and debugging IaC code (Cloud formation and Terraform).</li><li>Interacting with users, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on user needs.</li><li>Employing exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they snowball into problems.</li><li>Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.</li><li>Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>3-7 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS or Google Cloud.</li><li>Experience in the financial services industry.</li><li>Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.</li><li>Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.</li><li>Familiarity with asset management regulations in countries where UOB Asset Management operates.</li><li>Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.</li><li>Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect)</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>You can work full-time in your field of “Cloud Operations” - from scripting to strategy - and represent our department internally in training courses and international communities of practice and optionally also externally in lectures.</li><li>As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) you will also work closely with product managers, product owners, system architects and other roles to support the development goals in the individual applications on the platform.</li><li>With us, you will take responsibility for the automation of all aspects of configuration, monitoring and deployment of our cloud applications</li><li>The support of the operation of our Azure IaaS and PaaS production and development systems is part of your varied area of ​​responsibility</li><li>You work in the local DevOps team and are a competent contact for developers, product owners and the global IT functions (e.g. Business Continuity Management and Information Security)</li><li>International coordination of experiences and best practices with Enterprise Architects in the Group</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure, ideally in a hybrid IaaS/PaaS solution</li><li>Very good knowledge of professional and technical issues of provisioning and operation (ITIL, IaC etc.)</li><li>Passion for automating the entire software lifecycle</li><li>Solid knowledge of Powershell or bash, Linux-based operating systems, networks, security and protocols</li><li>Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, ARM, Bicep or terraform/terragrunt and Azure DevOps CI/CD</li><li>High availability and disaster recovery of various Azure-based services</li><li>Ideally experience in hosting PostgreSQL</li></ul>
