Role Description: <ul><li>Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical/Controls Technician to join our pharmaceutical operations team. </li><li>The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical control systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging processes. </li><li>This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.&nbsp;</li></ul> Responsibilities:&nbsp; Installation and Maintenance:&nbsp; <ul><li>Install and maintain electrical control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and SCADA systems.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.&nbsp;</li><li>Test and validate electrical control systems during commissioning and upgrades.&nbsp;</li></ul> Troubleshooting and Repairs:&nbsp; <ul><li>Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and software to identify root causes of system failures.&nbsp;</li><li>Repair or replace faulty components, including relays, sensors, actuators, and circuit boards.&nbsp;</li></ul> System Optimization:&nbsp; <ul><li>Program, configure, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) to improve system performance and efficiency.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in the design and implementation of new electrical control systems for process improvements and new projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct system performance tests to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.&nbsp;</li></ul> Documentation and Compliance:&nbsp; <ul><li>Maintain accurate documentation of electrical control systems, including wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all activities comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, and other regulatory guidelines.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in audits and provide technical expertise regarding control systems and maintenance records.&nbsp;</li></ul> Safety and Training:&nbsp; <ul><li>Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all electrical work complies with NFPA, OSHA, and company standards.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct risk assessments for electrical systems and implement appropriate safety measures.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide technical training to maintenance personnel on electrical systems and best practices.&nbsp;</li></ul> Collaboration:&nbsp; <ul><li>Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure electrical systems support manufacturing requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate effectively with equipment vendors and contractors for system upgrades and troubleshooting.&nbsp;</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Education: Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in electrical controls, automation, or instrumentation, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry.&nbsp;</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).&nbsp;</li><li>Strong understanding of electrical schematics, control wiring, and instrumentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Familiarity with SCADA systems and industrial networks.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of GMP and regulatory standards in the pharmaceutical industry.&nbsp;</li></ul> Certifications: <ul><li>Relevant certifications (e.g., Journeyman Electrician, ISA Technician Certification) are a plus.&nbsp;</li></ul> Key Competencies:&nbsp; <ul><li>Analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication and documentation skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.&nbsp;</li></ul>

Role Purpose: <ul><li>The Head of Manufacturing is accountable for ensuring operational excellence across all plant operations.&nbsp;</li><li>This includes optimizing key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) delivery, cost control, quality assurance, and team engagement.&nbsp;</li><li>The role involves streamlining production processes, maximizing capacity utilization, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture across multiple manufacturing plants.</li></ul> Responsibilities: Planning and Strategizing: <ul><li>Production Scheduling &amp; Optimization: Develop and optimize production schedules to ensure efficient capacity utilization and timely delivery. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Coordinates each Operator’s responsibilities during each shift.</li><li>Monitors the packaging process to ensure schedule is met within standards.</li><li>Conducts final audit of Batch Records, including MAPICS transactions, prior to going to Packaging BR Reconciler; Is qualified and capable of running all packaging equipment across the entire packaging department.</li><li>Conducts preliminary review of all daily Batch Production Record (BPR) for the line and logbook documentation to ensure detail and accuracy.</li><li>Accurately reviews BPRs steps for completeness and accuracy.</li><li>Request components, labels and inserts per the BPR.</li><li>Set up packaging machinery; accurately sets equipment programming according to BPRs and SOPs.</li><li>Conduct basic set ups, starts, operates, adjusts, troubleshoots and tears down packaging lines.</li><li>Conduct sampling: Collects samples from each batch and submits to QA for retained samples.</li><li>Executes procedures to complete tasks in a compliant and safe manner.</li><li>Conducts verification of line/equipment cleaning and documents per SOP.</li><li>Executes procedures used to clean pharmaceutical packaging equipment and facilities.</li><li>Competently conducts Master Cleans and Line Clearances.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8 or 12 hour shifts), lift at least 35 pounds, climb ladders, wear a dust mask or respirator and pass associated respirator tests and/or requirements, and be able to wear all required PPE, including safety glasses, ear plugs, and safety shoes.</li><li>Dexterity - ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.</li><li>Vision - ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).</li><li>Multi-limb Coordination - ability to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting or standing.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Subject matter expert in signal integrity design, simulation and validation activities through product development cycles</li><li>Establishing signal integrity design performance/functional requirements for new products</li><li>Performing signal integrity simulations for multiple high-speed standards on each product.&nbsp;</li><li>This includes determining the correct simulation methodology and setup to use, as well as a good understanding of the criteria for each interface.</li><li>Performing PCB design schematic and layout reviews</li><li>Creating actionable recommendations based upon design reviews and simulation results</li><li>Guiding connector design and component qualifications from a signal integrity standpoint.&nbsp;</li><li>Making data driven decisions about the product functionality and areas for improvement.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters Degree preferred</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in electrical Design, RF design or PCB design</li><li>A solid understanding of electromagnetic theory and electrical circuit behavior&nbsp;</li><li>Expert with Signal integrity analysis tools (Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST, or equivalent tools)</li><li>Expert with 3D CAD tools (SpaceClaim preferred, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent)</li><li>Expert with high-speed test equipment (VNA, TDR, BERT)</li><li>Expert with interconnect design or electronic packaging, with a preferred focus on high-speed differential connectors and/or cable assemblies, RF connectors, and channel integration.</li><li>Expert with printed circuit board layout and design (Altium preferred), fabrication and assembly, especially as associated with connector FP and card-edge interfaces</li><li>Proficient with data analysis techniques, appreciation for design geometry tolerance impacts, and HVM qualification.</li><li>Experience with physical layer communications systems and architectures.</li><li>Fluent in English (both verbal and written)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work in a global environment – able to accommodate varying time zones and capable of collaborating with individuals across geographies.</li><li>Expert in analytical capabilities to interpret simulation and lab data to identify issues and provide solutions to fix identified problem.</li><li>Learning Capability: Open minded, coachable, willing to learn new skills, and motivated to grow</li><li>Pro-active in identifying complex situations, providing solutions, and driving improvements to evolving procedures</li><li>Experience writing technical papers and presenting to BU-level organizations, external conferences, and critical customer contacts</li><li>Proficient at owning project SI responsibilities and driving team actions across multi-discipline engineering &amp; manufacturing teams</li></ul>
