Responsibilities: <ul><li>Perform evaluations and/or analyze unique problems that are new to equipment.</li><li>Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs that need to be made.</li><li>Perform training as needed to Lower level Maintenance Techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques utilized with equipment</li><li>Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment downtime.</li><li>Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.</li><li>Construct and/or assemble new equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.</li><li>Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent equipment down-time.</li><li>Perform Lock Out / Tag Out requirements.</li><li>Help repairing on hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes.</li><li>Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.</li><li>Analyze and improve existing products, equipment, processes as assigned.</li><li>Develop manufacturing methods and processes in the production of components and methods to reduce manufacturing costs.</li><li>Investigate, establish and implement requirements for equipment, tooling, and methods of manufacturing.</li><li>Participate in cost reduction and cost of quality programs.</li><li>Assist manufacturing engineer in solving production constraints.</li><li>Support production through independent review, root cause analysis, corrective action, discrepancy handling, and defect prevention.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Good communication skills, both oral and written.</li><li>Ability to work independently.</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows.</li><li>Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.</li><li>Strong practical technical ability.</li><li>Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Associate Diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.</li><li>1+ years experience in injection molding maintenance, or mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical repair.</li></ul>
