Responsibilities:You will be required to perform the following:Make safety inspections of all vessels prior to berthing or loading.Direct deep loaded vessels to a safe anchorage and lines up same for the departure channel upon ship's Master request.Investigate ship/pier related oil pollution incidents and prepares reports.Maintain permanent official log of vessels handled.Develops and maintains record of selected characteristics of all vessels handled.Maintain radio communications with vessels in the operating area; advises vessels of ballast condition required, berthing and unberthing time and other information to expedite ship movement and help with optimum scheduling.Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by Senior Harbor Pilot Supervision.Give direct commands regarding steering orders, engine speed and use of anchors; directs tugs and/or mooring launches via radio assigned to berthing/unberthing operation.Direct Pier personnel or mooring launches in the order and sequence of putting out and taking in mooring lines.Requirements:As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s of Science degree from a recognized and approved Maritime Studies College and have five-year experience, including at least four in Harbor Pilot or seagoing experience.Or you will hold High National Diploma from a recognized and approved Maritime Studies College and have six years’ experience, including at least four in Harbor Pilot or seagoing experience.You will have for Maritime Studies discipline is required for HND & Bachelor graduates.You must have Tanker Safety Course-Basic training in Oil/Chem/Gas.Helicopter and Underwater Escape Training Course is also necessary.

Responsibilities:We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Crude Distillation and treating processes (Atmospheric distillation, Vacuum distillation, MEROX, etc …) to join our Ras Tanura Refinery Engineering Department under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of facility assets.Your primary role will be to provide exceptional process engineering support, monitoring plant performance, capture optimization opportunities and value-creation programs for the operation of crude Distillation and Treating Units in order to operate safely, reliably, and economically as well as achieve target goals while realizing company strategic imperatives.As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Perform in-depth plant monitoring and optimize performance of CDU/VDU units by overseen unit’s operation and economics losses. Ensure issuing detailed reports to recommend changes supported by simulation models’ result to optimize unit operation.Lead unit operations troubleshooting and investigating off-spec. products and plant trips/ upsets and manage the required deliverables. Support Operations during turnaround and unplanned Shutdowns / Startups by understanding the unit operating conditions and transient effects to recommend operations improvementsPerform specific tasks such as, but not limited to catalyst forecast/ evaluation, test runs, de-bottlenecking studies, due-diligence assessment, enhancement studies, HAZOP studies.You will be assigned the Lead Role in process safety management overseeing HAZOP, PSR, SIL, PSSR, QRA, and Alarm Rationalization. Lead HAZOP/Process Safety Reviews of plant operations as well as new modifications.Manage long and short-term projects by proposing major projects to improve safety, reliability and profitability. Serve as technical mentor/ advisor to enhance the technical knowledge of the engineers through practical field discussions, demonstrations and/or simulations using available engineering aids.Requirements:You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.An advanced degree is preferred.You should have a minimum 15 years of total refinery process unit experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years’ experience in handling Crude distillation units.Exposure to different licensor technologies for Hydrocarbon treating is a plus as well as familiarity with Honeywell UOP or Axens licensed units.You must be Certified PHA/HAZOP leader.Familiarity and understanding of the best practices, design principles, international engineering standards and specifications relevant to operation of the concerned process units are preferred.
