For our Illicit Trade Prevention’s (ITP) team, based in London, we are currently looking for a Senior Analyst ITP Forensics

This role holder will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in tobacco products and Smoke Free Products (SFP) (incl. Illicit products) forensics and fulfill PMI’s legal and court requirements as Intellectual Property (IP) right holder. While contributing to the development of innovative methodologies, features and tools to protect and authenticate PMI products, generating product intelligence on illicit products to support ITP strategies and activities, and law enforcement investigations and litigation actions.

Key accountabilities:

Product authentication: perform PMI products authentication within a timely and satisfactory manner, for both our combustible (CC) and smoke free (SFP) category.
Product Intelligence:
perform product analyses, from Empty Pack Surveys’ samples to investigations and evidence materials, as well as from consumer complaints, test purchases, SFP device returns, in-market sampling, SFP recycling hubs, etc.
Product Forensics and Investigative support: perform forensics evaluation of samples of potentially illicit tobacco products stemming from various sources.
Organize and perform onsite inspections of raided illegal factories (manufacturing premises), aiming to support authorities in the fight against illicit manufacturing of tobacco products (incl. CC and SFP).
Trigger or support follow-up actions.
Represent the company in various events, incl. witness hearings or other legal proceedings, acting as PMI’s SME in product authentication and forensics.
Perform enhanced profiling of illicit products (“grouping”), aiming to support ongoing investigations or provide product intelligence to internal and external partners.
Product Security Features (PSF): use in practice PMI PSFs and verify their functionality, providing factual and constructive feedback on their presence and effectiveness to the supervisors or personnel in charge.
Supplier Liaison Program (SLP): support or contribute to the process by collecting information, gathering evidence and materials as part of ongoing forensics activities (e.g., factory raids follow-ups, company checks etc.).
SFP:
Actively contribute to protecting the consumer journey and the fast-evolving product lifecycle and distribution models, by analyzing samples stemming from manufacturing through distribution to sales, and its reverse logistics (returns and recycling).
Provide SME expertise for the new products in PMI’s portfolio, incl. launches and markets resulting from PMI business agreements, mergers or acquisitions.
Supply Chain Integrity: actively support and contribute to the process of fulfillment of PMI regulatory or internal obligations included in PMI’s Anti-Diversion programs. By responding to external and internal partners requests for technical expertise and product forensics,
Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) through technical assistance:
deliver, support and / or assist in technical training program deliverables to law enforcement authorities aiming at building their capability in tackling illicit trade.
Support building the “external engagement corridors” for further follow-up actions.
Industry Technical Alliance: contribute to process by ensuring the relevant technical information, samples and forensics info availability, when applicable.
Forensics IT Systems: contribute to maintenance and continuous improvements process of ITP system(s) in place.
3rd party support personnel supervision: supervise and coordinate a potential pool of external vendors or service providers contracted for support in product authentication, inspections, and analyses (incl. EPS pack analysis).
We are looking for someone with;

University (master or bachelor degree), preferably in Technical Sciences.
Strong experience in the tobacco industry or other consumer goods industry, preferably in product forensics at the anti-counterfeit / anti-illicit trade department or similar.
Know-how of technical examination techniques for products and forensics evaluation, incl. chemical and qualitative analysis methodologies and external laboratories network.
Knowledge of SFPs and vaping products, incl. electronics, SFP consumables and oral products category.
Project Management - Certified project management skills, incl. international and cross-functional projects coordination and supervision.

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Senior Solution Architect – AMEA will be the key responsible for driving solution strategy across tech programs for AMEA, for the purpose of business-IT joint strategy development, solution discovery, project planning &amp; delivery, risk management and relationship management.</li><li>SAP is the underlying stack for our Enterprise Systems and the solution architect will be pivotal in driving standardization in SAP Platform while collaborating with Business Units to deliver capabilities for Business.</li><li>Individual has direct accountability for the Standard and scalable solution design that are provided by our staff and third-party service providers.</li><li>This is a leadership role providing strategic direction to multiple globally diverse teams in the delivery of projects spanning across ERP and non-ERP platforms.</li><li>Works with all IT Services teams (Applications teams, business partners, business clients, external vendors, and service delivery partners, Security, infrastructure) to define, prototype, and implement new technologies in support of business objectives and projects.</li><li>This role will provide Business Technology thought leadership, bringing knowledge and solutions to drive business outcomes.</li><li>This role will be pivotal in enabling future-fit capabilities by framing the Technology Roadmap for AMEA, as well ensuring a standard template solution design for S4 HANA in AMEA.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>16-18 years of relevant technical and business work experience</li><li>Engineer/MBA or equivalent degree in Tech/ Information Systems from tier 1 college.</li><li>Manage senior business stakeholders in a matrix organization</li><li>Has the experience and cultural awareness required to work effectively with a global team.</li><li>Developing strategic plans and setting timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of solutions</li><li>Identifying opportunities for simplifications and digitization of various workflows across the organization</li><li>Supervising quality assurance processes, integration, and system tests</li><li>Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills</li><li>Ability to Communicate and inspire confidence at a senior level with technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Experience in the identification, evaluation and documentation of process flows, risks, and controls</li><li>Expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S4, including all modules such as MM, FI, CO, SD, PM etc.</li><li>Good understanding and background on Business Processes as part of digitization</li><li>Should have run large scale tech led transformation programs</li><li>Ability to engage with functional business leaders at a strategic level, as well as with delivery teams at an operational level</li><li>Hands-on experience leading such areas end-to-end and track record of delivering results and business value</li><li>Requires team leadership skills, experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations and IT processes</li><li>Experience with organizational change management preferred</li><li>Experience managing multiple vendors and external project resources</li><li>Proven ability to manage talent and team</li><li>Very strong academic background</li><li>Can do attitude and problem-solving mindset</li><li>Proficient in English Language (Writing, reading &amp; Speaking)</li></ul>

Responsibilities: General accounting: <ul><li>Support Shared service team on timely closure and ensure quality deliverables</li><li>Manage day to day accounting activities including providing advice on journal entries, adjustments, intercompany transactions and reconciliations</li><li>Oversee maintenance of chart of accounts</li><li>Provide financial updates and technical advice in accounting treatment for new business transactions</li><li>SAP month-end close in relation to general ledger</li><li>Financial statement flux analysis/review</li></ul> Shared service operations: <ul><li>Work closely with shared service team on process improvement and standardized process across locations&nbsp;</li><li>Support share service team in various accounting functions, ensure smooth communication between shared service team and operation team and facilitate resolution of financial issues</li></ul> Compliance and audit support: <ul><li>Responsible for local statutory audit, ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and provide support during external audit&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure smooth coordination between Shared Service Team and auditor and proper documentations provided by Shared Service team for audit review</li><li>Liaise with corporate secretary on filing of the audited financial statement to ACRA</li></ul> Process improvement and optimization project: <ul><li>Participate in implementation and enhancement of the ERP system and any other Company wide projects Requirements:</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Proficiency in accounting standards (USAAP. IFRS)&nbsp;</li><li>Strong knowledge in SAP and Excel</li><li>Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders across multiple locations</li><li>Preferably 3 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or Public Accounting firm</li><li>Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadline</li></ul>
