Overview: <ul><li>The Senior Costing Analyst is responsible to support new project quotations and conduct should-be-cost analysis to obtain cost saving opportunity.</li><li>This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather information, analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization besides able to adapt with fast paced work environment.</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Evaluate Bill of Materials (BOM) input and review BOM assumptions.</li><li>Understand and adhere to standard costing processes to defined product target price and tooling cost</li><li>Estimate product unit cost and tooling cost to establish target prices and tooling costs for new project quotes on specified commodities.</li><li>Providing support of cost analysis during the sourcing phase/conduct should be cost (e.g., stamping, injection molding, die casting).</li><li>Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure target price achievement.</li><li>Review supplier quotes and cost breakdowns to support gap closure analysis.</li><li>Collaborating with team mates to evaluate and review different design-engineering and VAVE initiatives.</li><li>Provide support for critical project Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and conducting cost walk/ variance analysis.</li><li>Able to work under pressure and meet target deadlines.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Purchasing or other related course.</li><li>At least 5 years of working experience in Automotive/ Mechanism design/ Manufacturing/ Industry Engineering.</li><li>Experience in stamping, injection molding manufacturing and tooling design who expresses strong motivation to transfer to costing is an advantage.</li><li>Proficient communication skills with regional stakeholders. Fluent in both English and Mandarin to deal with China region.</li><li>Willing to work under pressure especially with flexible working time in China and Malaysia to adapt with dynamic changing market associated with Chinese OEM.</li><li>Excellent skill on Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word and experience with database management is plus</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Quality point of contact for assigned Southeast Asia customer accounts.</li><li>Provide the Voice of the Customer feedback to product management, product engineering and manufacturing locations for characteristics that can become quality or application risks to the customer.</li><li>Manages Quality / Reliability interactions with the customer, including regular communication and escalations.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides technical support in evaluating products from a quality and reliability standpoint.</li><li>Leads cross-functional problem-solving teams to investigate quality issues and minimize customer impact, Company PPM, cost of poor quality and drive timely resolution.</li><li>Influences without authority in efforts to achieve 5D/8D response time within 10 business days or less.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for coordinating and ensuring completion of customer quality requested activities across design and manufacturing.
