Downstream Finance Manager

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Coordinates the End of Month Financial closing processes including the full consolidation of subsidiaries and branch activities and maintain documentation and analysis for audit and compliance purposes.</li><li>Prepare auditor-reviewed quarterly consolidated financials for the group of entities under mandate.</li><li>Prepare the statutory financial statement of multiple entities and perform the consolidation as applicable in conformity with applicable standards.</li><li>Manage the audit of multiple entities with external auditors and local managements of respective entities.</li><li>Draft the Directors Report and coordinate the collection of required information from internal stakeholders.</li><li>Support periodic preparation of financial and management reporting to management and stakeholders at the parent.</li><li>Align with Tax Unit for tax compliance activities and supporting the maintenance of the Tax Control Framework.</li><li>In alignment with Compliance, ensure external compliance with regard to chamber of commerce and Tax reporting.</li><li>Collaborate and coordinate with other Finance teams in relation to End of Month Financial closing processes (i.e. Treasury, Debt Management, IPM, Operations, GRC).</li><li>Maintain the General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, and manage changes in line with policy.</li><li>Review detailed procedures and guidelines, these include conducting review of company finance and accounting guidelines and office manual.</li><li>Perform technical accounting analysis and develop memos for documentation and collaboration of informed decision making.</li><li>Enforce procedure compliance throughout AOC and coordinate internal and external audits on behalf of the Finance Unit.</li><li>Advise the Finance Supervisor on complex finance issues.</li><li>Assist with the coordination of Internal Audit.</li><li>Maintain Internal Control documentation in the best order.</li><li>Maintain and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements in local jurisdictions.</li><li>Prepare CBS reporting documentation and coordinate monthly and quarterly reports in line with the timeline</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor (/Master) degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.</li><li>Combination of Big 4 and industry experience is a must.</li><li>Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately in English (Dutch is a plus).</li><li>Minimum of 9 years of progressive technical work experience in external audit, financial reporting, consolidation, financial statement preparation.</li><li>Strong understanding of IFRS standards and its application.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of MS Office, S4/HANA, SAP Central Finance, advanced skills in Excel.</li><li>Experience with BPC is a plus.</li><li>Good communication and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:Provides expert and objective advice to executive management to support decision-making in respect of all aspects of transactions. Is a core member of multi-functional transaction execution teams, providing end-to-end finance support to transactions.Screens and evaluates commercial options and evaluates transaction counterparties and joint venture partners.Is responsible for the valuation aspects of transactions, ensuring that financial models and outputs are prepared according to standards, that risks are considered, and that input assumptions are robust and documented, and that deficiencies and risks are considered.Prepares bid price recommendations for senior management reflecting competitive landscape.Manages the financial due diligence process (coordinating the activities of advisors as required), ensuring that due diligence findings are communicated to executive management and factored into valuation and/or definitive agreements.Advises on the accounting aspects of transactions.Contributes to definitive transaction agreements and is responsible for purchase price adjustments and post-transaction purchase price allocation.Is a member of the integration planning team, advising on finance aspects of integration.Coordinates the inputs of other finance experts to transactions.Develops, coaches and mentors team members on transactions.Contributes to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies to become a center of excellence of M&A execution for the Company.Provides ad hoc financial analysis activities including on transfer pricing, impairment reviews, government incentives, and group policy reviews.Manages external Financial Advisors and consultants on transactions. Develops relationships in banks to bring external perspectives on the M&A landscape to the Company.Requirements:10+ years relevant experience in conducting financial analysis in M&A transactions, likely gained in leading investment banks, accounting firms, or large international corporations.Significant experience in large and complex cross-border transactions with a strong preference for experience in energy, natural resources, or infrastructure sectors.Expert level knowledge and use of financial analysis tools and methodologies, understanding of financial statements, familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and international taxation.You will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or Engineering.Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g. MBA) or Accounting qualification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:Partner with business stakeholders to conduct scoping, develop design, coordinate development and testing, and managing the rollout of Group financial solutions leveraging SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting and related technical solutions.Coordinate with affiliate organizations to coordinate the infrastructure readiness, integration requirements, troubleshooting and enablement of the affiliate data exchange with the Group systemProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP Central Finance and Group Reporting modules, ensuring smooth transaction processing and data accuracy.Implement CFIN mappings, configure Group reporting solution, configure and troubleshoot with Application Interface Framework (AIF), setup workflows, and manage master data by designing and utilizing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)Analyze and resolve complex system issues, collaborate with IT team for technical escalation if needed.Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and consolidated financial statements according to local GAAP and IFRS standards.Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP updates and best practices for Central Finance and Group Reporting.Participate in system upgrades and implementation projects, providing expertise and ensuring smooth transitions.Document processes and maintain user guides for efficient knowledge transfer within the team.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in SAP Central Finance topics, obtain necessary technology certifications.Communicate technical concepts and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Maintain, support and optimize digital solutions.Requirements:As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance or IT from a recognized and approved program. Possession of an advanced business degree (e.g. MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g. CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred but not required. You will have six to eight years’ experience in implementation of SAP based financial accounting systems, including at least four years’ experience in solutions related to SAP Central Finance and Group Reporting. You will have four years of experience, preferably at multiple companies, inYou will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the various aspects of implementing financial accounting systems including articulation and measurement of benefits, evaluation of technical and execution options, critical success factors, and project risks.You must have hands on experience implementing SAP Central Finance and Group Reporting systems and will be able to analyze the financial accounting landscape and provide architectural options for implementing such solutions.

Responsibilities:Consolidate financial data including from the Company, subsidiaries, and joint venture entities.Create financial statement review, analysis, and preparation.Research accounting literature to address current issues involving accounting and financial reporting.Perform analysis, make recommendations, and prepare responses on consolidation matters.Prepare confidential and technical financial reports and forecasts.Coordinate with auditors and provide full support for audit/review of consolidated financial statements.Provide financial expertise to subsidiaries, joint ventures, or within the Company.Provide Joint Venture, M&A integration support from a financial statement perspective.Provide ad hoc financial expertise as required.Requirements:As the successful candidate, you will Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a degree in a related field.A graduate degree is also desirable, as well as any relevant advanced professional competencies evidenced by professional certifications such as a CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA.Accounting-focused professional licenses and/or other forms of continuing professional education is required.A minimum of ten years of relevant experience is required in relevant industries, which may include experience in financial statement consolidation, financial analysis, financial statement preparation, accounting research, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, process/change management, and strategy/management consulting.Specific operational experience in energy related activities, infrastructure, utilities (public and/or private), joint ventures and subsidiaries, government sector, non-profits, and public administration would be desirable.Specific corporate business integration experience would also be desirable (startup experience and related activities).You will have extensive knowledge of accounting policies and procedures established pursuant to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as a strong understanding of the content of financial statements prepared within the IFRS framework.Extensive knowledge of accounting policies and procedures in the oil and gas industry and the ability to conduct research on an IFRS or Company's accounting or financial reporting matter is preferred.You will be able to prepare preliminary findings, analyze alternative approaches, and recommend a preferred action for the Organisation.You will have demonstrated the capability to make presentations or lead meetings, including at the executive level. Leadership skills are desirable.Proficiency in both oral and written English is required.SAP or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience is highly desirable.
