Responsibilities:You will be required to perform the following:Design and/or study of chemical modification to oil & gas processing, oil handling and utilizes facilities.Manage and execute capital projects according to the work scope, schedule and budget.Ensuring compliance to company standards, procedures, policies and agreed work specifications.Responsible for project development: preliminary engineering to detail designs to construction and the final and safe turnover to proponent.Manage General Engineering Services (GES) design contractor activities during the development of project proposal, include definition of project work scope and schedule requirements. Development of detailed estimate leading to funding appropriation and approval.Develop and preparation of contracting plan and strategy for solicitation, evaluation and award of contract for detail engineering, procurement and construction.Manage contractor preparation of detailed design drawings, material specifications and procurement, and/or construction bid packages.Coordinate activities and resolve issues among proponents, contractors and other parties to allow construction activities to progress according to plan and final mechanical completion.Be part of critical review teams e.g. Design (30%/60%/90%), PHA / HAZOP, P&IDs, Flow Diagrams, Data Sheets, Procurement Requisitions, Vendor Data.Review and resolve day to day contractors’ claims and complaints related to assigned project work during construction and ensure HSE compliance.Fully understand contract documents (inclusive of appendices, drawings and specifications), project execution plan, interface management, change management, construction sequencing, standards specifications and project schedule to support project manager and/or company representative in timely completion of project.Performs change order estimating and assists the Project Manager or Company representative in change order negotiations.Project Reporting and implementation of company initiatives during project execution. Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.Attend project meetings e.g. progress, stakeholders, design review, plot plan, value improvement.Assist in managing and reviewing the project progress i.e. planned vs actual. Review of project schedule, coordinating and monitoring the assigned project progress and challenge below par performance of the contractor.Review, coordinates and monitors invoices (claimed vs actual physical progress checks) and contractor’s submittals.Use of company systems and tools e.g. Sharek, CRM, SAP.Upholds engineering ethics and maintain high standards of professional behavior and conduct.Requirements:Engineering Design & Construction phase experience.Professionally Registered Engineer.As the successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university; a higher degree is preferred.You will have Seven years of related experience, preferably in the oil industry or similar process industry.You should have experience in the support of both small and large scale capital projects.Work experience in GCC, Saudi Arabia or our client is a plus.You will be familiar with International Engineering Codes and Standards.You will have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).Dynamic attitude towards project improvements and savings.PMP Certification is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Crude Distillation and treating processes (Atmospheric distillation, Vacuum distillation, MEROX, etc …) to join our Ras Tanura Refinery Engineering Department under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of facility assets.Your primary role will be to provide exceptional process engineering support, monitoring plant performance, capture optimization opportunities and value-creation programs for the operation of crude Distillation and Treating Units in order to operate safely, reliably, and economically as well as achieve target goals while realizing company strategic imperatives.As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Perform in-depth plant monitoring and optimize performance of CDU/VDU units by overseen unit’s operation and economics losses. Ensure issuing detailed reports to recommend changes supported by simulation models’ result to optimize unit operation.Lead unit operations troubleshooting and investigating off-spec. products and plant trips/ upsets and manage the required deliverables. Support Operations during turnaround and unplanned Shutdowns / Startups by understanding the unit operating conditions and transient effects to recommend operations improvementsPerform specific tasks such as, but not limited to catalyst forecast/ evaluation, test runs, de-bottlenecking studies, due-diligence assessment, enhancement studies, HAZOP studies.You will be assigned the Lead Role in process safety management overseeing HAZOP, PSR, SIL, PSSR, QRA, and Alarm Rationalization. Responsibilities:Review and monitor the performances of existing SRU & SWS facilities through key performance indicators (KPIs) representing the process plant’s optimum operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety. Issue quarterly SRU & SWS performance benchmarking reports highlighting the KPIs, analysis, and performance improvement recommendations.  Monitor and support the facilities in implementing the recommendations and closing the gaps identified in the quarterly performance benchmarking reports.  Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops internally among Global Manufacturing facilities (wholly-owned and affiliates) having SRU & SWS process technologies. Execution and deliverables of the workshops will be based on Benchmarking & Best Practices Exchange Agreement among Global Manufacturing facilities.  Issue by-monthly SRU & SWS technical best practices bulletin for sharing within Global Manufacturing facilities. Provide on-demand remote and/or field technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities on matters concerning the operation of SRU & SWS which may include but not limited to process troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown activities, capacity test runs, technology pilot testing, and process design. Issue service report for every support activity provided highlighting the facilities need, actions taken, results, and lessons learned. In collaboration with Global Manufacturing facilities engineers, propose cost optimization or process improvement initiatives focusing on ‘low-hanging fruits’ with no or minimal capital investment required, through operational adjustment or design modification. Conduct internal assessments on SRU & SWS process engineering standards using  engineering standard references. Highlight any deviations or better standards applied by affiliates for endorsement to facility management or  Central Engineering. Support the implementation of relevant engineering standards to SRU & SWS across Global Manufacturing upon each facility management’s approval. Act as the Admin Area overall coordinator for cascading and driving Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs to the operating facilities for execution and effective monitoring. Participate in Business Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for any capital investments on assigned process units and support techno-economic evaluations. Recommend and coordinate proven technology deployments in SRU & SWS process units. Liaise with Global Manufacturing Excellence-Manufacturing Technical Support Division and Engineering Services for any technology assessment and piloting support. Participate as subject matter experts on external benchmarking with 3rd party entities, which include but not limited to, Japan Cooperation Council Petroleum (JCCP) and Gulf Downstream Association (GDA). Participate in SRU & SWS hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required by operating facilities. Participate in incident investigation activities concerning SRU & SWS process technologies as required by operating facilities. Act as overall coordinator on any SRU & SWS data required by Global Manufacturing Affiliate Affairs from  wholly-owned facilities.Requirements:You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization. An advanced degree is preferred.You should have a minimum of 15 years total refinery or gas plants process units experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years’ experience in handling SRUs/TGTU/SWS plants.Exposure to different SRU/TGTU process licensor technologies is a plus.
