Senior Data Manager and Analyst

Overview: <ul><li>The VP &amp; General Manager of the Sub Vertical will be a senior executive responsible for leading a global business with a P&amp;L of 600-M. S/he will pursue an aggressive growth strategy focused on organic and M&amp;A growth and will build a leadership team equipped to drive new product introduction, go-to-market expansion, manufacturing excellence, and entry into product adjacencies through acquisitions.&nbsp;</li><li>The candidate will bring a growth-oriented and entrepreneurial mind-set, excellent commercial acumen and leadership experience, and a hands-on leadership style. </li><li>The role will appeal to those with aspirations for further personal and career growth as the company seeks to further enhance the overall bench-strength for succession for executive-level leadership positions across the company.&nbsp;</li><li>The successful candidate will be part of the leadership team of the Connect Living Solutions business unit and will report to Senior VP &amp; General Manager of the Connect Living Solutions business unit. The role will be based remotely with requirement to travel globally to customers, partners and manufacturing locations.&nbsp;</li></ul> Responsibilities:&nbsp; Year Success Factors: <ul><li>Assess the product portfolio and refresh the key growth and margin expansion assumptions in the 5-year post-merger integration business plan.</li><li>Partner with M&amp;A team to drive successful integration and deliver on deal model.</li><li>Implement an execution cadence to drive execution of key levers in the 5-year post-merger integration business plan and attainment of the quarterly financial targets</li><li>Partner with the VP of Sales &amp; Sr Director Marketing to strengthen the commercial cadence and execution to accelerate top-line growth</li><li>Achieve meaningful improvement in service levels by enhance the capability of the manufacturing / operations team and implementing supply chain solutions that reduce lead time</li><li>Assess the team and develop a comprehensive talent plan</li><li>Drive execution plan related revenue and cost synergy actions as well as the taking a decision on the continuation of portfolio adjacencies.&nbsp;</li><li>Develop a comprehensive plan to expand product portfolio through a combination of strategic partnerships and acquisitions. Partner with Strategy and M&amp;A functional leaders to identify the major inorganic growth opportunities. Activate the M&amp;A pipeline and actively drive pipeline development initiatives.</li></ul> Requirements:&nbsp;Candidate profile: <ul><li>The successful candidate will be an accomplished general manager from a highly regarded Industrial company.&nbsp;</li><li>S/he will be a seasoned operator and growth leader with at least five years of direct experience managing a large, complex Industrial, Appliance or similar business.&nbsp;</li><li>The successful candidate must have a track record of success in leading a truly global organization and interfacing with customers and employees in the diversity of markets in which the business operates.&nbsp;</li><li>S/he will be a hands-on and accountable leader who is able to focus the organization on the most attractive business opportunities and improve the organization’s commercial capabilities in a market that serves both large customers as well as a fragmented customer base through the distribution channel.&nbsp;</li><li>S/he must be action-oriented with a drive to win and a penchant for driving growth maximizing and profitability enhancing strategies. S/he will be an inspirational executive with a real entrepreneurial edge who empowers and holds accountable his or her team to achieve world-class performance in commercial results, product quality, delivery, cost and service while building a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.&nbsp;</li><li>An undergraduate degree in business or engineering is required with an MBA being highly desired.&nbsp;</li></ul> Specific requirements include: <ul><li>Deep working knowledge of Industrial, Appliance or similar product markets, including how to leverage Electronic and Electrical distribution channels.</li><li>A track record of developing business strategies and driving top and bottom-line financial results.&nbsp;</li><li>Strong commercial skills and the proven ability to build strong partnerships with customers and distributors</li><li>M&amp;A acquisition and business unit integration experience.</li></ul>&nbsp;Strategic Growth Mindset: <ul><li>The candidate will have experience in developing business strategies and plans that incorporate competitive issues, trends in the industry, and external factors. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Strategy &amp; Pricing – You support the Senior RGM Manager in developing 1 to 3 year pricing/PPA goals and in creating innovation budgets. You drive pack pricing initiatives through competitive analysis and market research and evaluate implemented initiatives.</li><li>Trade Investments - Setting trade investment budgets and a list price strategy for the DACH region as part of annual business planning.</li><li>Innovation &amp; Insights – Evaluate potential innovations commercially, including pricing recommendations and go-to-market strategies. Generate informed insights to make strategic recommendations at category, brand and customer levels.</li><li>Category Expertise - Become a category expert and advise other departments on commercial initiatives such as pack activation, limited editions and co-packed products.</li><li>Stakeholder Management &amp; Tools - Build strategic partnerships within the DACH region and with the European Central Business Unit. Participate in the implementation and use of RGM tools and functions.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>A strong commercial understanding paired with RGM knowledge from functions such as account management or revenue growth management.</li><li>You have successfully completed your studies in economics or a comparable qualification.</li><li>Through a collaborative mindset, you promote cross-functional collaboration for effective goal achievement.</li><li>The ability to work and think strategically and to consider long- and short-term perspectives when formulating solutions.</li><li>Ideally, knowledge of the German food retail sector and trading structures.</li><li>Advanced MS Office knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools such as Tableau/Power BI.</li><li>Ideally experience with Unify and/or Nielsen.</li><li>Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.</li></ul>

Role Description:We are seeking a Senior Data Manager and Analyst to join the Exploration Geospatial & Data Management Solutions Division of Exploration.The Exploration Geospatial & Data Management Solutions Division is responsible for overseeing the development and use of data systems within our client.In addition, ensuring effective data management, formulating data capturing, governance, quality, analytics as well as automation techniques.Also, managing Exploration’s structured, unstructured and geospatial data.The data analyst’s primary role is to visualize and interpret data, analyze results and take steps to ensure that the data is governed and of good quality.Responsibilities:Create and enforce policies for effective data management.Design data visualization solutions to monitor structured, unstructured and geospatial data and track Exploration business processes.Champion development and deployment of data analytics solutions to support business decision making.Assist with technical reports and data structuring when neededPerform data exploration and analysis to detect data quality and integrity issues, provide solutions to measure and correct defects.Devise and implement efficient and secure procedures for data handling and analysis, to enhance data integrity and security, with attention to all technical aspectsContribute to Exploration data business processes, identify gaps and recommend improvements.Lead and manage projects that support the digital transformation.Conduct meetings with Exploration business stakeholders and gather data management requirements.Serve as a data management representative and facilitate communication between the application developers and business stakeholders.Mentor young professionals.Requirements:As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field from a recognized and approved program.You will have a minimum of 10 years professional experience in data analysis or data management, preferably in the oil and gas exploration industry.You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of the DAMA data management framework. CDMP certification is preferred.You must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.Knowledge of relational and/or dimensional database models is also necessary. You must be able to write complex SQL queries.Experience with big data is preferred.Experience with BI/data analytics software is preferred.Experience with geology and geophysics software is preferred.Understanding of enterprise data architecture is preferred.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
