Responsibilities:Provide control system and instrumentation related technical support in Process control system activities, troubleshooting and recommend corrective actions to ensure having safely and reliably operate the facilities.Design, commission, test, configure, enhance and resolve Process control and instrumentation activities.Ensure security compliance of Process control and instrumentation activities. Additionally, analyzing relevant process data various control system for any process upsets investigation.Participate in any initiatives and studies includes but not limited to HAZOP, SIL Study, RCA analysis, innovation programs, operation excellence, knowledge sharing, self-development and others programs as required.Work with various vendors as needed to install, upgrade, update or implement new technologies for plant control and automation systems and instrumentation.Develop function and design specification for control system and instrumentationReview and validate vendors design documentations at all stage of assigned projects.Requirements:As a successful candidate you should have a BS in related engineering discipline to control system and instrumentation in relevant gas processing operation facilities in Oil/Gas Industry with (15) years of experience. You should have a recent experience with DCS and ESD (Yokogawa Centum VP / ProSafe-RS), Bentley Nevada VMS, compressor Controller (CCS), Turbine Control System (TCS) and control system security.atioYou should have excellent experience and knowledge in designing and updating/upgrading control system and strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities:We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Crude Distillation and treating processes (Atmospheric distillation, Vacuum distillation, MEROX, etc …) to join our Ras Tanura Refinery Engineering Department under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of facility assets.Your primary role will be to provide exceptional process engineering support, monitoring plant performance, capture optimization opportunities and value-creation programs for the operation of crude Distillation and Treating Units in order to operate safely, reliably, and economically as well as achieve target goals while realizing company strategic imperatives.As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Perform in-depth plant monitoring and optimize performance of CDU/VDU units by overseen unit’s operation and economics losses. Ensure issuing detailed reports to recommend changes supported by simulation models’ result to optimize unit operation.Lead unit operations troubleshooting and investigating off-spec. products and plant trips/ upsets and manage the required deliverables. Support Operations during turnaround and unplanned Shutdowns / Startups by understanding the unit operating conditions and transient effects to recommend operations improvementsPerform specific tasks such as, but not limited to catalyst forecast/ evaluation, test runs, de-bottlenecking studies, due-diligence assessment, enhancement studies, HAZOP studies.You will be assigned the Lead Role in process safety management overseeing HAZOP, PSR, SIL, PSSR, QRA, and Alarm Rationalization. Lead HAZOP/Process Safety Reviews of plant operations as well as new modifications.Manage long and short-term projects by proposing major projects to improve safety, reliability and profitability. Prepare design request, budget justifications and detailed implementation plans for economically justifiable projects. Also, develop detailed engineering design packages for in-house process-oriented projects and follow up on implementation.Review in-detail and revise standard work procedures like new operating procedures, instructions, RIMs, alarm and ESD check list, MOC, HAZOP, JSA, Relive valves, plant drawings.Ensure environmental and safety awareness effectiveness with work closely with the facility Safety and Environment management to improve safety and achieve highest environmental standards.Liaise with vendors and technology licensors for process enhancements and changes as well as with Engineering Services Department for any technology assessment and piloting support.Train younger or less- experienced engineers by providing necessary guidance, assessing strengths and skills in need of improvement. Serve as technical mentor/ advisor to enhance the technical knowledge of the engineers through practical field discussions, demonstrations and/or simulations using available engineering aids.Requirements:You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.An advanced degree is preferred.You should have a minimum 15 years of total refinery process unit experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years’ experience in handling Crude distillation units.Exposure to different licensor technologies for Hydrocarbon treating is a plus as well as familiarity with Honeywell UOP or Axens licensed units.You must be Certified PHA/HAZOP leader.Familiarity and understanding of the best practices, design principles, international engineering standards and specifications relevant to operation of the concerned process units are preferred.

Responsibilities:You will be required to perform the following:Conduct performance and compliance assessments for the facilities control systems and instrumentation and generate the related reports.Develop engineering design scopes and packages.Perform logic changes on Honeywell DCS Experion PKS and Honeywell ESD Safety Manager.Troubleshoot and investigate system upsets and/or malfunctions and provide recommendations.Conduct engineering job evaluation for plant modifications proposals.Assist and provide technical consultation to Maintenance and Operation teams.Provide support to Plant Operations Engineers.Conduct and Review major studies and incidents investigations.Maintain engineering drawings and Mark-ups as P&ID’s, ILD’s and ISS’s.Participate on studies and company studies including HAZOP and SIL studies, innovation programs, operational excellence, knowledge sharing, among others. Participate on control systems (DCS, ESD, CCS, VMS, etc) FAT and SAT tests, commissioning and PAT as required.Develop and mentor young engineers. Requirements:As the successful candidate you should hold a Bachelor degree or preferably master’s degree in related engineering discipline to control system (i.e Electrical Engineer, Electronic Engineering, System Engineer or equivalent) from a recognized and approved program.

Responsibilities:We are looking for DCS Engineer to join Shedgum Gas Plant Department You will be responsible for providing technical support to operating facilities, projects, technology deployment, and talent development of new DCS EngineerShGP was brought on stream in 1981. The plant current processing capacity is 2.5 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD) of associated and non-associated gas. The plant products are NGL, Ethane, Sales Gas and Liquid Sulfur.We are seeking for control system and instrumentation to work within ShGP control system and instrumentation group. The engineer will work with engineering disciplines to enhance and resolve process control and instrumentation activities.Additionally, the engineer is expected to participate in the organization initiatives including but not limited to safety program, innovation programs, operation excellence, knowledge sharing, self-development and others programs as required.The engineer should have a full knowledge involved with advanced Gas Processing control and adequate technical skills to provide engineering analysis, design and control of assigned projects. The Engineer shall check the system performance to ensure it is running up to its design and implement any modification or system enhancement.Requirements: As a successful candidate, he should have a BS in related engineering discipline to control system and instrumentation with (10) years of experience. He should have a recent experience with DCS and ESD (Foxboro/ Triconex), Turbine Control System (TCS), Compressor Control System (Allen Bradley) and control system security.He should have excellent experience and knowledge in designing and updating/upgrading control system and strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards

It is also expected to have minimum knowledge of cybersecurity requirements for control systems and network.The candidate is expected to have knowledge of drawings and international standards related to control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:Execute capital projects according to the scope, schedule and budget.Perform complex technical and administrative tasks relative to the Design and coordination of specialized controls and instrumentation systems.Provide technical input and review of the design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup of facilities. Address technical issues arising in all phases of the project development related to Instrumentation & Process Control parts of the facilities.Responsible for project development: engineering studies, technical bid reviews, preliminary engineering, detail designs, materials procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, handover, commissioning and startup.Review and provide input to the Functional Specification for PCS and Field Instrumentation that fully comply with our client standards and specifications.Manage General Engineering Services (GES) design contractor activities during the development of Pre-FEED & FEED, including definition of project work scope and schedule requirements. Development of detailed estimate leading to funding appropriation and approval.Be familiar with international procedures of Projects Phases, Engineering Phases, Bidding procedures, Procurement Processes, Construction Requirements and up to date Best Practices.Full understanding of contract documents (inclusive of appendices, drawings and specifications), project execution plan, interface management, change management, construction sequencing, standards specifications and project schedule to support project manager and/or company representative in timely completion of projects. Review and resolve day to day contractors’ activities related to assigned project (process) work during construction and ensure HSE compliance.Participate in developing Instrumentation & Process Control deliverables and others such as BDs, SLDs, P&IDs, ILDs, ISDs, ISS, C&E diagrams, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, simulations, control narrative, energy optimization, startup plans, etc.Provide design input in the identification, sizing, selection and procurement of field instrumentation including control valves. Attend Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of the Process Control System and resolve any technical issue prior of shipment to site. Conduct Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Integration Site Acceptance Test (ISAT) for all Process Control System and resolve any technical issues that arise.Perform change order scope definition, cost estimation and assist the Project Manager or Company representative in change management process.Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and schedule. Attend project meetings e.g. progress, stakeholders, design review, plot plan, value improvement. Review of project schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned project progress and challenge below par performance of the contractor. Review, coordinate, and monitor invoices (claimed vs actual physical progress checks) and contractor’s submittals. Perform Project Reporting and implementation of company initiatives during project execution.Review design/study Instrumentation & Process Control modifications to the facilities.Provide routine Instrumentation & Process Control (design and construction) support to facilities.Develop and/or review testing and commissioning procedures for Instrumentation & Process Control equipment especially in the facilities.Be familiar with leading equipment manufacturers/vendors, international standards and value improvement practices.Requirements:As a successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized and approved program.You will have a minimum of (15) years of experience in the refining and the petrochemical industries with a specialty in Instrumentation & Process Control, including five (5) years of field experience in construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and operation.You will also have;Engineering Design & Construction phase experience with a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles in the applicable International Codes, Standards and Specifications.Expertise in specific control & instrumentation disciplines such as Advanced process control (APC), Distributed control systems (DCS), Programmable logic controllers (PLC), Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), Emergency shutdown system (ESD) & etc.
