Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide centralized engineering support for all NAWCOD operations.</li><li>Ensure well intervention requirements are technically and operationally feasible and can be conducted safely.</li><li>Ensure all well interventions and testing equipment being used in NAWCOD meet jobs safety and technical requirement.&nbsp;Liaise with Production Engineering to prepare activity level forecasts.</li><li>Initiate, facilitate and evaluate trial tests of new technologies.</li><li>Conduct well intervention operation audits, including service providers and personnel competency performance, to ensure compliance with the best in class practices. Evaluate offshore vessels (Jack up Barges) needs for well services operations for safety compliance and technical needs. Monitor and evaluate condition of existing well services equipment and prepare replacement plans. Generate and maintain Operational Instruction Manuals (OIM) for all NAWCOD operations.</li><li>Monitor NAWCOD well intervention performance and issue technical reports, accordingly.</li><li>Evaluate and recommend modifications of operational procedures for continuous improvement in safety and efficiency.</li><li>Prepare and disseminate best practices as well as conduct technical training and awareness sessions.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Proficiency in coiled tubing, wireline, and slickline operations</li><li>Familiarity with industry regulations, safety practices, and standards&nbsp;</li><li>Active in related professional societies and have achieved professional recognition&nbsp;</li></ul>

Responsibilities:As a subject matter expert, you will;Use/maintain geological models to conduct and document reservoir characterization work-flows via generating cross sections from well logs, maps, cores, cross plots, histograms, summary tables, and written reports for different stratigraphic intervals to recommend placement of wells and supplementary processes to enhance production.Evaluate current practices and identify opportunities for innovative improvements using data science applications to predict reservoir quality.Actively participate in the well planning process to optimize well locations using a variety of geological and geophysical data.Monitor and trac wells, performing well evaluations during and post frac jobs, generating and/or updating maps for structural, stratigraphic, fluid limits in light of new drilling and flowback information.Provide geological input into generation of appraisal and development plans for resource assessment and development optimization.Work closely with drilling, production and reservoir engineering teams and champion operational activities from planning to execution.Effectively communicate through presentations to technical peers and management teams to enhance in-house knowledge.Provide support, recommendations and advise in the area of expertise.Mentor and develop newly hired and young professionals.Requirements:As the successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or a related science, however an advanced degree is preferred.You must have at least 8 years or more of experience and active technical roles, with at least 5 years in shale unconventional plays, we will consider candidates with more or less experience, depending on the quality of their experience.You will also have;Experience in building, maintaining and evaluating large and complex geological models utilizing geological modeling software.Working knowledge in the integration of sedimentology, depositional environments, petrophysics, geophysics, geochemistry, geomechanics and well placement. Experience working with the production and drilling teams on well performance and optimization.Previous experience working with reservoir engineers and reserve auditors to determine reserve and resource estimations is preferred.

Responsibilities:Carry out economic Modeling to support development as part of commerciality assessmentPerform economic evaluation to support fast-paced development decisions and work closely with support functions including Corporate Finance, Strategy and Reserves groupsCarry out Risk & Uncertainty assessment of technical and financial componentsPerform Specific scenario planning and sensitivity studies as directed by ManagementWork closely with multi-disciplinary teams to strategize and implement field development plansConversant with Reserves estimation, validation and booking for unconventional playsConversant with business planning process. Short- & Long-range planning, portfolio ranking.Provide economic & operational benchmarking of North American Unconventional PlaysDevelop and implement new work processes, best technical practices, governance and controlsCoach and mentor less experienced Saudi engineers and effectively explain ideas, concepts, and techniques. Represent Company in external forums.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Petroleum engineering or related science as appropriate to the required discipline. An advanced degree in Petroleum Economics or Statistics would be an advantage.We are targeting 12-15 years’ experience with at least 5-8 years in unconventional plays including shale, tight sand or channel reservoir. Experience in unconventional hydrocarbon basins required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in unconventional green field development. Knowledge of the following applications (or similar) is required: PEEP, MOSAIC, Enersight, PVTsim, ProjectRA and Spotfire.Essential Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguity in analysis.Strong computer and Data analysis/Statistical skills, visualization with Spotfire.Proficient with economic sensitivities along with Business Planning acumen.Solid organizational and time management skills. Assures that rig and personnel comply with established safety standards and procedures.Requirements:Completion of ITC: English, ERW; Math, MI.Thirteen (13) years relevant experience in drilling and workover operations including supervisory experience generally acquired by progression on a drilling or workover rig.B.S. degree in Engineering.Seven (7) years of experience working in drilling and workover operations including adequate supervisory experience on a drilling or workover rig.Willing to live in remote areas in mobile camps.

ResponsibilitiesConduct reservoir characterization studies, including Log-to-core integration, mapping, sequence stratigraphy and conceptual 3D geological modeling (Facies and reservoir properties).Contribute to field development plans through well planning using simulation ready 3D integrated model.Perform well planning, including creating well targets data with reservoir and drilling engineers, generating well trajectories and loading the directional data, preparing geological prognosis (including but not limited to tops, cross sections and correlation panels) along with monitor operational and geo-steering activities for all types of wells (horizontal, deviated, and vertical) in the office or offsite if needed, including monitoring, geo-steering and tracking wells, performing well evaluations while and post drilling, making well correlations, generating and/or updating maps for structural, stratigraphic and fluid limits in light of the new drilling information, and making critical decisions for wellbore adjustments.Interact with concerned geoscientists in the Reservoir Characterization Department, Reservoir Engineers, and Drilling & Workover Engineers and communicate clearly with all parties involved in drilling activities, and prepare post-drilling analysis.Requirements As a successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from a recognized and approved program, an advanced degree is preferred.You will have 15  years of experience in Field development activities or role of development geologist.You will have the ability to integrate all available Geological, Geophysical, Petrophysical, Sedimentological, and 3D Geological model and other dynamic information for advance reservoir characterization studies to in-depth understanding for reservoir architecture and flow behavior.You will also have the ability to integrate all characterization studies to identify suitable locations for drilling.Extensive experience in subsurface mapping and be familiar of utilization of various geological applications and packages (such as DSG, Petrel, Petrosys, Geolog, Teclog etc.) is also necessary.Also, a minimum of two years’ experience in geo-steering (with triple combo log) and real-time operations is preferred.You need to be familiar with LWD and/or wireline borehole image interpretation and also with rig operations and vendor logging systems.Previous experience in reservoir geology, drilling operations, field development, sedimentology/stratigraphy or structural geology is necessary

Overview:We are seeking to hire a computational geophysicist to join the Geophysical Imaging Department that aims to provide a diverse set of geophysical solutions which illuminate the subsurface to reduce the uncertainty surrounding hydrocarbon & non-hydrocarbon activities through integrating the best talent, optimal processes and leading-edge technologies. The candidate will formulate and develop algorithms in CPU and GPU for various geophysical disciplines in collaboration with the subject matter experts. The codes are expected to be put into a production environment and used as part of the main workflow to improve the quality and efficiency of the department products. The geophysical products include but are not limited to velocity model building and depth imaging: therefore, basic knowledge in each discipline is preferable. In addition, the computational geophysicist will provide periodic updates through presentations, reports and demonstrations and must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.Responsibilities: Develop applications that improve the accuracy of our current geophysical modelling and inversion algorithms.Adapting scientific applications to GPU.Improve geophysical technology software documentation and user friendliness.Support existing technology in production environment.Restructure software code for efficiency and effectiveness.Stay up to date with industry technology and software trends to bring ideas to geophysical solutions.Prepare and present professional-quality presentation materials to technical peers and management.Transfer knowledge to young professionals to ensure business continuity through mentorship and documentation.Requirements: A successful candidate, would need to hold a bachelor or higher degree in Geoscience.10+ years of experience in geophysical field and/or oil and gas industry.Advance depth imaging (FWI, RTM, LSRTM) and velocity model building experience.Experience with numerical methods, parallel algorithms, MPI, and GPU programming.Proficiency in computing programming language (Fortran, C++ and/or C).English language fluency with the capability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing Excellent.

Role Description:This senior professional will be a focal point in well testing/pressure transient analysis as part of the Well Testing Division in Petroleum Engineering. He or she is expected to provide support and leadership in multi-disciplinary projects for clients from diverse organizations.Responsibilities:Have skills in pressure transient analysis (PTA) in complex well/reservoir/fluid systems– for example, ICD/ICV/Smart Completion/Multilateral/MRC/EOR/Channel/MultiPhase/Tight and Unconventional Gas.Must have excellent skills in building numerical models to study pressure-transient scenarios; for example,fault/fracture networks in heterogeneous systems, thermal effects in injection wells, etc.Competent in processing and interpreting large and real-time data from intelligent fields.Integrate PTA with petrophysical, geological, fluid properties, drilling and completion data, and operational details to build representative reservoir models.Field experiences in design, supervision and execution of exploration well testing operations are essential. Special emphasis is put on testing operations in harsh and difficult environments e.g,deep water, heavy oil, involving H2S/CO2, etc.Work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and must be experienced in conducting studies and delivering technical presentations.Prior experiences in modelling complex wells, completed over multiple, heterogeneous reservoir layers, are essential.Capable of teaching complete, structured courses on well testing.Coach young professionals to prepare them to take over difficult projects in the future. Also guide them as a career advisor.Possess track records of building complex analytical and numerical models from scratch. Skills with deriving and coding mathematical solutions for transient pressures are desirable.Experiences in building advanced transient models by calibrating geological sector models with well-test data are desirable.Be seen as a person of excellence or a subject matter expert in the area of well testing.Adapt and promote new technologies for efficiency and for improving quality of work. Get involved in development of new technologies.Contribute to knowledge substantially by writing technical papers and filing patent ideas. Also present existing and new technologies in the knowledge sharing meetings.Get involved in local, regional and international professional societies for exchange of knowledge and ideas.Requirements:Extensive engineering background with a degree in petroleum engineering or similar discipline. However, an MS or a PhD is preferred. Good exposure to production engineering, well logging, well testing operations, simulation, drilling and completions, and field development is essential.At least 12 years of experience in petroleum engineering, including on-the-job experiences in pressure- transient analyses, numerical modelling with complex well and reservoir configurations or leading well testing operations.At least 10 years of experience in building complex PTA models, or reservoir simulation models or leading well testing operations is essential.Practical knowledge of using commercial software packages of well testing, simulation and geological modelling.Field experiences in designing exploration well testing programs, and supervising and supporting operations are valued. Excellent understanding of surface and downhole tools in well testing is essential. Prior experiences of testing in difficult environments (e.g., deep water, heavy oil, high H2S/CO2 contents, etc.) are preferable.Excellent project management skills.Excellent skills in communicating with colleagues, clients and management.
