Responsibilities:You are expected to be able to perform the following:Develop maintenance processes, maintenance management strategy, work and performance management strategy and conduct Maintenance health assessment in line with GME and corporate requirements. This includes PM and PdM strategies, Org. structures, manpower analysis, cost analysis, etc., and appraise and prepare reports on the effectiveness of such processes.Conduct data driven analyses to benchmark maintenance organization’s performance to identify gaps then set sustainable plan to close the gaps, this includes, but not limited to: Spending Analysis, Maintenance Effectiveness, operating costs of existing assets, PM, and PdM, Wrench time analysis, SAP Taxonomy, Planning & Scheduling, Personnel Competency, Budgeting Strategy, Bad Actors, and RAM Modeling. Analyze facilities’ maintenance performance to establish reference baseline & Issue frequent maintenance benchmarking reports to promote knowledge.Review maintenance reporting mechanism and KPIs along with their trends to drive performance and provide recommendations accordingly.Analyze maintenance spending in terms of manpower, equipment, materials procurement and outsource strategies.Assist the line maintenance organizations in the implementation of approved programs such as TPRM or GM reliability model.Develop methods and programs for handling new situations in maintenance fields. Responsibilities:We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Crude Distillation and treating processes (Atmospheric distillation, Vacuum distillation, MEROX, etc …) to join our Ras Tanura Refinery Engineering Department under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of facility assets.Your primary role will be to provide exceptional process engineering support, monitoring plant performance, capture optimization opportunities and value-creation programs for the operation of crude Distillation and Treating Units in order to operate safely, reliably, and economically as well as achieve target goals while realizing company strategic imperatives.As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Perform in-depth plant monitoring and optimize performance of CDU/VDU units by overseen unit’s operation and economics losses. Ensure issuing detailed reports to recommend changes supported by simulation models’ result to optimize unit operation.Lead unit operations troubleshooting and investigating off-spec. products and plant trips/ upsets and manage the required deliverables. Support Operations during turnaround and unplanned Shutdowns / Startups by understanding the unit operating conditions and transient effects to recommend operations improvementsPerform specific tasks such as, but not limited to catalyst forecast/ evaluation, test runs, de-bottlenecking studies, due-diligence assessment, enhancement studies, HAZOP studies.You will be assigned the Lead Role in process safety management overseeing HAZOP, PSR, SIL, PSSR, QRA, and Alarm Rationalization. Lead HAZOP/Process Safety Reviews of plant operations as well as new modifications.Manage long and short-term projects by proposing major projects to improve safety, reliability and profitability. Serve as technical mentor/ advisor to enhance the technical knowledge of the engineers through practical field discussions, demonstrations and/or simulations using available engineering aids.Requirements:You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.An advanced degree is preferred.You should have a minimum 15 years of total refinery process unit experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years’ experience in handling Crude distillation units.Exposure to different licensor technologies for Hydrocarbon treating is a plus as well as familiarity with Honeywell UOP or Axens licensed units.You must be Certified PHA/HAZOP leader.Familiarity and understanding of the best practices, design principles, international engineering standards and specifications relevant to operation of the concerned process units are preferred.

Responsibilities:Review and monitor the performances of existing SRU & SWS facilities through key performance indicators (KPIs) representing the process plant’s optimum operability, profitability, reliability, and process safety. Issue quarterly SRU & SWS performance benchmarking reports highlighting the KPIs, analysis, and performance improvement recommendations.  Monitor and support the facilities in implementing the recommendations and closing the gaps identified in the quarterly performance benchmarking reports.  Conduct benchmarking and best practices exchange workshops internally among Global Manufacturing facilities (wholly-owned and affiliates) having SRU & SWS process technologies. Execution and deliverables of the workshops will be based on Benchmarking & Best Practices Exchange Agreement among Global Manufacturing facilities.  Issue by-monthly SRU & SWS technical best practices bulletin for sharing within Global Manufacturing facilities. Provide on-demand remote and/or field technical advisory support to Global Manufacturing facilities on matters concerning the operation of SRU & SWS which may include but not limited to process troubleshooting, start-up and shutdown activities, capacity test runs, technology pilot testing, and process design. Issue service report for every support activity provided highlighting the facilities need, actions taken, results, and lessons learned. In collaboration with Global Manufacturing facilities engineers, propose cost optimization or process improvement initiatives focusing on ‘low-hanging fruits’ with no or minimal capital investment required, through operational adjustment or design modification. Conduct internal assessments on SRU & SWS process engineering standards using  engineering standard references. Highlight any deviations or better standards applied by affiliates for endorsement to facility management or  Central Engineering. Support the implementation of relevant engineering standards to SRU & SWS across Global Manufacturing upon each facility management’s approval. Act as the Admin Area overall coordinator for cascading and driving Global Manufacturing and Corporate programs to the operating facilities for execution and effective monitoring. Participate in Business Plan development and coordinate with stakeholders for any capital investments on assigned process units and support techno-economic evaluations. Recommend and coordinate proven technology deployments in SRU & SWS process units. Liaise with Global Manufacturing Excellence-Manufacturing Technical Support Division and Engineering Services for any technology assessment and piloting support. Participate as subject matter experts on external benchmarking with 3rd party entities, which include but not limited to, Japan Cooperation Council Petroleum (JCCP) and Gulf Downstream Association (GDA). Participate in SRU & SWS hazard operability (HAZOP) and safety integrity level (SIL) studies as required by operating facilities. Participate in incident investigation activities concerning SRU & SWS process technologies as required by operating facilities. Act as overall coordinator on any SRU & SWS data required by Global Manufacturing Affiliate Affairs from  wholly-owned facilities.Requirements:You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related specialization. An advanced degree is preferred.You should have a minimum of 15 years total refinery or gas plants process units experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years’ experience in handling SRUs/TGTU/SWS plants.Exposure to different SRU/TGTU process licensor technologies is a plus.
