Role Description: <ul><li>The Quality Associate I, Operations is responsible for actively participating in “on the floor” Quality activities during product manufacturing and/or packaging. Quality activities include product sampling and inspection, area clearance to confirm process readiness, non-conforming event support to resolve in-process issues, and process validation and qualification activities.</li><li>Communicates to multiple departments and supervision to provide timely process and issue updates.&nbsp;</li><li>Identifies and escalates issues or problems to appropriate supervision.</li><li>Participates as a team member on cross-functional teams. Participates in reviews and structured processes for continuous improvement</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Performs physical inspection of in-process and finished product samples as assigned and according to the production schedule.</li><li>Collects samples from manufacturing and packaging according to the defined Batch Production Record and procedure requirements.</li><li>Is competent in all relevant processes (weighing, compounding, mixing, packaging, granulation, compression, coating, Liquids Mfg. and Batch Transfer, Creams &amp; Ointments Mfg. and Batch Transfer, Packaging, etc.) Follows internal processes related to controlled substances.</li><li>Performs GMP-related verifications including area, equipment and line clearances, cleaning, room inspection, material verification, etc. according to procedures</li><li>Actively participates in process validation and equipment qualification activities.</li><li>May execute computer data entries in SAP, Leucine, LIMS, and department databases.</li><li>Sampling and inspection of raw materials, packaging components, in-process, bulk, and finished drug product during manufacturing and packaging operations of commercial and non-commercial processes.</li><li>Performs manufacturing/packaging stage reviews of batch records.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent with 4-7 years’ relevant experience OR</li><li>AA/AS degree with 3-6 years’ relevant experience OR</li><li>BA/BS degree with 2 -5 years’ relevant experienceRelated discipline and certification in assigned area a plus.</li><li>Experience with statistical sampling methods a plus.</li></ul> Knowledge &amp; Skills <ul><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Strong documentation skills.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret SOPs and function within the scope of procedures.</li><li>Proficiency with basic math skills and basic experience with computers and software applications required.</li><li>Ability to learn new processes and procedures.</li><li>Able to communicate effectively with other departments, management and operational personnel.</li><li>Customer/Stakeholder focused (understands impact of daily work to compliance and overall business).</li><li>Proof-reading skills; ability to identify errors.</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend documentation and requirements set forth in Batch Production Records (BPRs).</li><li>Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is a bonus.</li><li>Ability to work overtime as needed, including occasional weekend shifts.</li></ul> Physical Requirements <ul><li>Lift 15 lbs.</li><li>Walk across plant/warehouse.</li><li>Wear appropriate gowning as required.</li><li>Ability to read for extended periods of time.</li></ul>

Utilizes the preferred supplier selection and assessment process when selecting suppliers. Completes supplier risk assessment on critical and unique parts. Monitors supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost).</li><li>Materials: Coordinates activities around source selection, specification creation and price negotiation with appropriate team members.</li><li>Executes commercialization (transition) materials plan).</li><li>Manages materials change control process. Meets cost objectives and resolves quality issues. Generates and publishes Key Process Indicators. Tracks total landed costs targets.</li><li>Works with engineering to identify preliminary critical parts, long-lead parts and inspection requirements. Assists in developing supplier and commodity road maps to engineering. Utilizes value analysis on build-to-print components in support of Should Cost analysis.</li><li>Actively mediates and partners with quality and engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues for assigned product groups. Responsibilities: Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A): <ul><li>Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes;</li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and variance analyses;</li><li>Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making;</li><li>Analyse business performance, trends, and key drivers (revenue, costs, margins, cash flow);</li><li>Partner with business leaders to improve financial performance and cost efficiency;</li></ul> Financial Control &amp; Reporting: <ul><li>Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes; Approve monthly Financial Statements in US GAAP ;</li><li>Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Danish GAAP and IFRS (if applicable) for Statutory Financial Audit ( each year around November);</li><li>Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions;</li><li>Oversee and approve reconciliations (balance sheet, bank, intercompany accounts, etc.);</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies;</li><li>Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial activities;Tax &amp; Compliance (SKAT):</li><li>Ensure compliance with Danish tax regulations (corporate tax, VAT, payroll taxes);</li><li>Review VAT returns and other required filings with SKAT (Danish Tax Agency);</li><li>Coordinate corporate income tax reporting with external advisors;</li><li>Monitor changes in Danish tax legislation and assess business impact;</li><li>Ensure compliance with transfer pricing requirements and documentation;</li><li>Manage communication and correspondence with SKAT authorities;</li></ul> Audit &amp; External Reporting: <ul><li>Act as primary contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process;</li><li>Coordinate audit schedules and prepare where needed, documentation, and responses to audit queries;</li><li>Ensure timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of recommendations;</li><li>Coordinate with internal audit (if applicable/ needed);</li><li>Ensure statutory filings are completed with Danish authorities (e.g., Danish Business Authority – Erhvervsstyrelsen) ( usual deadline is 30th of March for prior Fiscal year)</li></ul> Administrative &amp; Regulatory Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manage company digital mail system (e-Boks) and ensure timely handling of official correspondence as well as related business partners ( invoices to be forwarded to responsible AP partner, compliance requests, etc);</li><li>Oversee compliance with local statutory requirements and filings;</li><li>Maintain relationships with banks, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities;</li><li>Ensure proper corporate governance documentation and filings;</li></ul> Cash Flow &amp; Treasury Management: <ul><li>Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital;</li><li>Optimize cash management processes and approve forecasting;</li><li>Oversee banking relationships and approvals;</li><li>Manage intercompany funding and vendor related payments;</li></ul> Team Leadership &amp; Stakeholder Management: <ul><li>Lead and develop the local finance team (if applicable);</li><li>Collaborate with global finance and regional teams;</li><li>Act as a strategic business partner to local leadership;</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;</li><li>5–10+ years of experience in FP&amp;A, Financial Controlling, or similar roles;</li><li>Experience managing audits and financial reporting;</li><li>Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills;</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, IndustriOS).</li></ul> Preferred qualifications and experience: <ul><li>Experience with Danish accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus.</li><li>Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred;</li></ul>
