The RoleFinance Strategic Projects is responsible for leading strategic finance and SSC projects focused on driving and executing strategic initiatives, such as technology implementations, standardisation and centralisation of back office transactional processes and identify continuous improvements opportunities. Will be required to work on cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on the financial performance and operations of the organisation.&nbsp; Key Responsibilities1. Collaborate with finance leadership and other key stakeholders to develop and execute the finance and Shared Services functions strategic roadmap. Align finance and Shared Services initiatives with overall corporate objectives and long-term financial goals. 2. Lead and manage finance and SSC related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes. Responsibilities: <ul><li>Coordinates the End of Month Financial closing processes including the full consolidation of subsidiaries and branch activities and maintain documentation and analysis for audit and compliance purposes.</li><li>Prepare auditor-reviewed quarterly consolidated financials for the group of entities under mandate.</li><li>Prepare the statutory financial statement of multiple entities and perform the consolidation as applicable in conformity with applicable standards.</li><li>Manage the audit of multiple entities with external auditors and local managements of respective entities.</li><li>Draft the Directors Report and coordinate the collection of required information from internal stakeholders.</li><li>Support periodic preparation of financial and management reporting to management and stakeholders at the parent.</li><li>Align with Tax Unit for tax compliance activities and supporting the maintenance of the Tax Control Framework.</li><li>In alignment with Compliance, ensure external compliance with regard to chamber of commerce and Tax reporting.</li><li>Collaborate and coordinate with other Finance teams in relation to End of Month Financial closing processes (i.e. Treasury, Debt Management, IPM, Operations, GRC).</li><li>Maintain the General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, and manage changes in line with policy.</li><li>Review detailed procedures and guidelines, these include conducting review of company finance and accounting guidelines and office manual.</li><li>Perform technical accounting analysis and develop memos for documentation and collaboration of informed decision making.</li><li>Enforce procedure compliance throughout AOC and coordinate internal and external audits on behalf of the Finance Unit.</li><li>Advise the Finance Supervisor on complex finance issues.</li><li>Assist with the coordination of Internal Audit.</li><li>Maintain Internal Control documentation in the best order.</li><li>Maintain and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements in local jurisdictions.</li><li>Prepare CBS reporting documentation and coordinate monthly and quarterly reports in line with the timeline</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor (/Master) degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field.</li><li>Combination of Big 4 and industry experience is a must.</li><li>Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately in English (Dutch is a plus).</li><li>Minimum of 9 years of progressive technical work experience in external audit, financial reporting, consolidation, financial statement preparation.</li><li>Strong understanding of IFRS standards and its application.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of MS Office, S4/HANA, SAP Central Finance, advanced skills in Excel.</li><li>Experience with BPC is a plus.</li><li>Good communication and problem-solving skills.</li></ul>

Responsibilities: Sourcing Standardization &amp; Alignment: <ul><li>Act as the expert for sourcing compliance, providing expert guidance, and resolving any discrepancies between Group guidelines and local realities.</li><li>Monitor compliance through KPIs that drive performance and results.</li><li>Partner with global excellence teams to tailor Group norms to the SAPMENA context, leveraging regional successes to enhance global standards.</li></ul> Process Optimization &amp; Innovation: <ul><li>Drive the simplification and optimization of sourcing processes, systems, and tools across the region, working in close partnership with Sourcing management.</li><li>Identify and champion the adoption of new technologies, like Generative AI, to further streamline workflows, automate tasks, and empower sourcing teams.</li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve the training programs for sourcing-related systems and tools.</li></ul> Sustainability &amp; Compliance Leadership: <ul><li>Embed sustainability and ethical sourcing practices as integral components of the SAPMENA sourcing landscape.</li><li>Collaborate with Sourcing teams to translate Group-level sustainability and compliance KPIs into tangible actions and guidelines for local implementation.</li><li>Provide ongoing support and guidance to local teams, empowering them to achieve and surpass ambitious sustainability and compliance targets.</li></ul> Data Integrity &amp; Transparency: <ul><li>Implement mechanisms to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of sourcing data across all SAPMENA entities.</li><li>Develop and utilize insightful reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators, monitor progress towards targets, and identify areas for optimization.</li></ul> Best Practice Sharing &amp; Knowledge Management: <ul><li>Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the excellence community and represent SAPMENA in worldwide forums</li><li>Assess the sourcing teams knowledge and drive training initiatives to address the gaps</li><li>Launch engaging excellence campaigns that inspire and mobilize the organization to embrace and implement best-in-class sourcing practices.</li><li>Represent the Sourcing Excellence team in worldwide meetings, discussions and workshops.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelors degree required (MBA preferable); a focus on Finance is a plus.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in Sourcing, Internal Control, and/or project management related to tool implementation , process optimization or sustainability.</li><li>Experience in regional or global roles is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data to drive strategic decisions.</li><li>Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively conveying information and building strong relationships with both corporate stakeholders and country teams.&nbsp;</li></ul>
