Senior Manufacturing Process and Development Engineer (Assembly)

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Technical communication to customer, confirm customer application and technical requirement;</li><li>Translate customer’s requirement into engineering specification and provide new product design solution in time;</li><li>Responsible for part list/BOM building, 3D models and 2D drawings, GD&amp;T, product specifications, application specifications, DFMEA, DVPR, SC/CC list etc.</li><li>Lead the design review for compliance with engineering principles, high voltage standards, customer contract requirements, verification and related specifications;</li><li>Lead design review with cross functional teams to confirm the manufacturing and quality control feasibility;</li><li>Leads DV/PV test, responsible for resolving product design and test problems;</li><li>Responsible for FAI review, work with project team to release product in time.</li><li>Interacts with customers, vendors, marketing and sales personnel, and other engineering areas during the pre-production stages of new products.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor level degree majored in Engineering, or above;</li><li>More than 10 years mechanical design experience in Automotive industry. Independently new product development experience is plus.</li><li>Knowledge of connector fundamentals, capable of connector component and terminal design,&nbsp;</li><li>Familiar with GD&amp;T, mechanics of plastic/metal materials, and basic knowledge in injection molding, stamping.</li><li>Familiar with automotive product development, automotive products development process like APQP and PPAP.</li><li>Skilled in at least one 3D Software: Creo or Pro/E or Catia or UG. Mastery of office software such as Word, Excel, PPT, etc.</li><li>Proficient in writing and reading English. Good Oral English is plus.</li><li>Good communication skills, High team work spirit and team work experience, ability to work with multicultural engineering teams and cross functional environments.</li><li>Effective problem solving skills, to be innovative, willingness/ability to deal with multiple product and assigned tasks.</li></ul>

Proficient at limit and fit analysis including statistical tolerance analysis.</li><li>Proficient in developing and writing design objectives for product specifications</li><li>In depth knowledge in manufacturing process (machining, molding, stamping, plating, assembly, etc.) with experience driving Design for Manufacturing (DFM)</li><li>Fluent in English (both verbal and written) to facilitate global communication both internally and with external customers.</li><li>Ability to work in a global environment – able to accommodate varying time zones and capable of collaborating with individuals across geographies.</li><li>Optimistic when facing difficulties and team work spirit;</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Cooperate with the project and sales to complete the quotation evaluation of the product in prophase.</li><li>Responsible for the development and customization of new process, new equipment and new tooling required by new products and release to mass production line equipment.</li><li>Responsible for process concept and process design review of new products.</li><li>Technical upgrading and continuous improvement of existing equipment and tooling.</li><li>Driving the process realization and process performance (C/T Scape rate OEE) to meet target.</li><li>Provide solutions for the improvement of process problems and equipment problems of pre-production samples.</li><li>Prepare flow chart, PFMEA and WI for new products and train production line operator.</li><li>Cooperate with the quality department to complete the customers quality complaint and problem improvement.</li><li>Complete other tasks assigned by superior leaders or the company.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Diploma or Degree or above in Mechanical / Production Engineering/Mechatronics/Automation</li><li>5+ years relevant working experience in a Manufacturing environment</li><li>3+ years’ experience in design of Automated Assembly Machine</li><li>Good knowledge in tool making, tool-steel application / selection and heat treatment process</li><li>Previous experience in cable / connector automated, system/equipment development is preferred</li><li>Good team player with good communication &amp; presentation in English and Chinese</li><li>Good Project Management skill</li><li>Excellent problem solving technique</li><li>Good understanding on how a process capability study is conducted and able to interpret results</li><li>The ability to make data-driven decisions based upon statistical analyses, designed experiments and capability studies</li></ul>

Responsibilities: <ul><li>Proactively drives outstanding performance in Safety and Quality in Delivery Operations</li><li>Responsible for driving a culture of Safety and Quality throughout the organization</li><li>Accountable for the use of correct installation methods and tools by the installation team, and for proper risk assessment for parts of installation where method is not feasible</li><li>Establishes and promotes service-minded culture and outside-in thinking in Delivery Operations</li><li>Captures and feeds Voice of Customer throughout Delivery Operations</li><li>Manages customer disputes and escalations, and tracks NPI and transactional survey feedback</li><li>Leads, evaluates, and develops his/her operations team and professionals to achieve the established safety, quality, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals. Responsibilities:&nbsp; <ul><li>Ensure mass production and quality during sample production to mass production, quality planning for early-stage projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Collaborate with project engineers, product engineers, and process engineers for new project development.&nbsp;</li><li>Focus on internal quality and reliability analysis and control, early-stage quality planning, and sampling frequency.</li><li>Provides technical support in evaluating products from a quality and reliability standpoint.</li><li>Leads cross-functional problem-solving teams to investigate quality issues, minimize customer impact, PPM, and cost of poor quality, and drive timely resolution.</li><li>Responsible for coordinating and ensuring completion of customer quality requested activities across design and manufacturing.
