About: The Client has Established a new National Champions Admin Area that aims to deliver end-to-end product development, entrepreneurship, and investment opportunities to convert lucrative business ideas into national champions that enable job creation and economic growth.Taleed (Also Known As Leap 10) is one of program, within the National Champion, is devoted to create, sustain, and grow Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Kingdom, aiming to create thousands of jobs and maximize GDP contribution. The program is a catalyst for change in collaboration with the Kingdom’s major government and private stakeholders. Taleed is part of the National Champions entity with sister organizations extending support in terms of idea generation, product development, and access to VC funds.We are seeking a candidate that will be part of the Origination and Execution tracks that is responsible for the end-to-end process, including sourcing new SMEs/ideas, conducting a comprehensive due diligence on business opportunities, developing proposals/business plans, supporting localization of new strategic SMEs, executing the investment opportunities and engaging with SMEs, partners and investors as well as negotiating with them. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, as well as strong analytical and negotiation skillsResponsibilities:Identify and qualify new SME investment opportunities including research of potential ideas, assess their impact and determine their fit with market requirements.Conduct market research and analysis including data gathering, existing market saturation & competition and industry trends. This information can be used to identify new SMEs investment opportunities and develop strategies to reach the targeted markets.Build relationships with SMEs and partners; this involves developing trust and link with potential SMEs/partners.Execute the approved SMEs investment opportunities and work with partners/investors to develop investment execution plans and supporting executing it.Lead all aspects of project planning, team design, and progress tracking while serving as a thought leader and advisor to SMEs and investorsEngage with public and private stakeholders to enable investment executionClose opportunities and track results: This involves ensuring that opportunities are meeting the support plan. Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or another related field. Responsibilities:You are expected to be able to perform the following:Review operations of process catalysts by monitoring key performance indicators which include but not limited to product yields, deactivation rates, remaining lifecycle, etc. Issue quarterly performance and benchmarking reports highlighting optimization achievements, performance gaps and recommendations.Support process technology engineers in resolving any catalysts and absorbents performance gaps and implementation of optimization initiatives.Conduct yearly benchmarking workshops with participating Global Manufacturing facilities to highlight the year-round performances, share best practices, agree on catalyst optimization and profitability targets, and recognize facility best performers.Maintain an inventory of Global Manufacturing catalysts and absorbents detailing the technology providers, quantity, next loading forecasts, etc.Support and facilitate potential similar catalysts inventory exchange/synergy among Global Manufacturing facilities. Develop and/or support needed contractual agreements, as needed.Represent the admin area in refining catalyst selection and evaluation by representing the needs of the business line according to established company procedures.Support and coordinate with other internal stakeholders when necessary on the requirements to conduct the regular catalyst pilot testing activities.Acts with Global Manufacturing refineries in the negotiation and acceptance of catalysts and adsorbents vendor performance guarantees.Involvement in the performance test runs to validate vendor’s Proforma Performance Guarantees.Manage and facilitate the spent catalyst handling and precious metals reclamation (platinum and rhenium-based) activities in Global Manufacturing. Develop and maintain the procedures accordingly.Act as the admin area focal point in providing coordination and process engineering support on corporate catalyst strategies and related transactions.Provide field support to catalyst related activities such as loading & unloading, regeneration & rejuvenation, pre-sulfiding & activation, process optimization, and troubleshooting, as needed, in collaboration with facility process engineers, and other stakeholders.Support the pilot testing or field demonstration of commercial catalysts and in-house developed catalysts in facilities in collaboration with R&D and other corporate technical entities.Lead contract cost optimization initiatives surrounding fresh catalyst procurement, spent catalyst handling, re-use, and metal reclamation.Requirements:As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelor's degree in chemical or environmental engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree with specialization in catalysis is preferred.You will have a minimum of seventeen years of experience in refining and petrochemical catalyst and absorbents application, and practical experience in supporting or operating catalytic processes (i.e. hydroprocessing, reforming, catalytic cracking, etc.) with at least 5 years’ experience in oil refinery or petrochemicals plants.Exposure to different technology licensors is a plus.You will have experience using process engineering simulation programsYou will be able to demonstrate very good command of spoken and written English

Responsibilities:As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:Provide engineering technical support to the Refinery Operations.Perform unit monitoring and performance evaluations.Conduct troubleshooting/assisting operations divisions in resolving Operations related problems.Monitor Advance Process Control and alleviate the constraints to maximize APC utilization.Conduct catalyst performance analysis, yield estimates and life cycle estimation.Lead HAZOP, MOC, Root Cause analysis and incidents investigations.Prepare annual and long range operating plans and objectives.Identify the units constraints and perform debottleneck studies.Conduct engineering studies to improve refinery gross margins.Conduct energy audits and surveys to improve refinery energy performance and energy KPI’s.Provide capital project design reviews and commissioning support.Involve in development of procedures and reviews.Requirements:You must hold a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in CCR/Platforming and Naphtha Hydrotreating.Experience in the Crude Unit, Diesel Hydrotreating, Penex ISOM, Merox Units, Amine Treating and Sulfur Recovery Units will be an advantage.You must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices, international standards, and economic principles.

Responsibilities:We are seeking a Downstream Process Engineer with experience in Crude Distillation and treating processes (Atmospheric distillation, Vacuum distillation, MEROX, etc …) to join our Ras Tanura Refinery Engineering Department under the Downstream Global Manufacturing to support and oversee the performances of facility assets.Your primary role will be to provide exceptional process engineering support, monitoring plant performance, capture optimization opportunities and value-creation programs for the operation of crude Distillation and Treating Units in order to operate safely, reliably, and economically as well as achieve target goals while realizing company strategic imperatives.As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Perform in-depth plant monitoring and optimize performance of CDU/VDU units by overseen unit’s operation and economics losses. Ensure issuing detailed reports to recommend changes supported by simulation models’ result to optimize unit operation.Lead unit operations troubleshooting and investigating off-spec. products and plant trips/ upsets and manage the required deliverables. Support Operations during turnaround and unplanned Shutdowns / Startups by understanding the unit operating conditions and transient effects to recommend operations improvementsPerform specific tasks such as, but not limited to catalyst forecast/ evaluation, test runs, de-bottlenecking studies, due-diligence assessment, enhancement studies, HAZOP studies.You will be assigned the Lead Role in process safety management overseeing HAZOP, PSR, SIL, PSSR, QRA, and Alarm Rationalization. Serve as technical mentor/ advisor to enhance the technical knowledge of the engineers through practical field discussions, demonstrations and/or simulations using available engineering aids.Requirements:You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.An advanced degree is preferred.You should have a minimum 15 years of total refinery process unit experience (process engineering and operations) with at least 10 years’ experience in handling Crude distillation units.Exposure to different licensor technologies for Hydrocarbon treating is a plus as well as familiarity with Honeywell UOP or Axens licensed units.You must be Certified PHA/HAZOP leader.Familiarity and understanding of the best practices, design principles, international engineering standards and specifications relevant to operation of the concerned process units are preferred.
