QC Chemist I

Responsibilities: Testing Equipment/Measuring Tool Calibration, Management, and Maintenance <ul><li>To ensure the effectiveness and quality of testing equipment and measuring tools, participate in the calibration of testing devices and manage all testing equipment in the factory according to the testing equipment/measuring tool management standards.</li><li>Monitor the operational status of experimental equipment.</li><li>Develop calibration plans that translate national and customer calibration requirements into internal calibration guidelines and work instructions.</li><li>Assign identification numbers to all inspection equipment in the company.</li><li>Regularly calibrate equipment; contact external calibration agencies to assess their capabilities and perform external calibration on equipment that exceeds internal calibration capabilities to ensure accuracy.</li></ul> Cross-Section Sample Preparation / High-Frequency Testing Fixture Maintenance and Test Anomaly Analysis <ul><li>To ensure the accuracy of test results, assist testing engineers in analyzing and addressing anomalies in production and laboratory tests.</li><li>To assist ME/QC in confirming the terminal riveting process during production, prepare cross-section samples of terminals when testing technicians/engineers are off duty.</li><li>To ensure the accuracy of high-frequency testing, manage the preparation, maintenance, and management of high-frequency testing fixtures.</li></ul> Testing Equipment Safety Confirmation <ul><li>To ensure the safety of the testing equipment on-site, implement safety inspections and confirmations of the testing equipment in the field.</li></ul> Production and Maintenance of High-Frequency Testing Fixtures <ul><li>Assign identification numbers for all high-frequency testing fixtures on the production line for management and monitor their usage frequency. This includes the production and maintenance of all high-frequency testing fixtures on the production line, as well as the welding and fabrication of high-frequency fixtures for NPI products.</li></ul> Requirements: Education, Major, Work Experience: <ul><li>High school/vocational school or above</li><li>Over 1 year of testing experience in the electronics industry</li></ul> Skills Requirements: <ul><li>Good communication skills, sense of responsibility, analytical abilities</li></ul>

Role Description: <ul><li>As the Engineering Team Leader for automotive sensors—including pressure, rotary, speed, and position sensors—you will oversee a new product development team from understanding customer requirements to designing, validating, and supporting mass production.</li><li>Your primary responsibility will be to guide the team in delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and reliable sensor solutions.</li><li>By leveraging your expertise, you will drive innovation and play a critical role in expanding the organization’s business within these product lines.</li></ul> Responsbilities: Technical Leadership: <ul><li>Lead a multidisciplinary team in the research, design, and development of pressure, rotary speed, and position sensors for automotive applications.</li><li>Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and serve as the primary customer-facing leader for engineering support.</li><li>Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team, and promote cross-functional collaboration globally.</li></ul> Sensor Development: <ul><li>Define and execute the sensor development strategy, integrating mechanical, electronic, and software components.</li><li>Oversee design, simulation, and prototyping, optimizing for performance, cost, and reliability.</li><li>Collaborate with operations to develop efficient manufacturing processes for high-quality sensor production.</li></ul> Testing and Validation: <ul><li>Lead calibration and testing of sensors, working closely with the test team to ensure accuracy and reliability.</li><li>Troubleshoot validation issues and drive standardization of testing systems for efficiency.</li></ul> Sensor Technology Expertise: <ul><li>Demonstrate strong knowledge of MEMS and magnetic sensing technologies for robust product development.</li><li>Provide technical support to customers on sensor integration and troubleshooting.</li></ul> Innovation and Industry Trends: <ul><li>Stay updated on industry trends, pressure, rotary, speed and position sensors sensing technologies.</li><li>Propose research projects (ADPAC) and collaborate with Product Managers to keep technical roadmaps current.</li></ul> Project Management: <ul><li>Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful, timely completion.</li><li>Enhance lean product development and drive strong P&amp;L outcomes.</li></ul> Documentation: <ul><li>Maintain comprehensive documentation of designs, tests, and results, and prepare reports for internal and external audiences.</li></ul> Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of engineering team leadership experience.</li><li>Proven expertise in sensor development like MEMS or Magnetics sensing technologies.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of sensing technologies and scientific principles.</li><li>Proficient in sensor testing, calibration, and validation.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.</li><li>Strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration abilities with international partners.</li><li>Strong presentation and communication skills.</li></ul> WE VALUE <ul><li>Lean Six Sigma Certification.</li><li>Standards Knowledge – IATF 16949, EN 9100, ISO 9001.</li><li>Project management ability.</li><li>Solid knowledge on Automotive sensors development.</li><li>Solid knowledge in sensors electronics, measurement &amp; signal processing.</li><li>Functional Safety (FuSa) Knowledge and Expertise (ISO 26262).</li><li>Familiarity with software development coordination, regulatory, and compliance requirements for sensors.</li></ul>

Responsibilities:The Chemist I, under direct supervision, learns and performs QC laboratory chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process materials, stability and finished products, and testing to support process validation.May participate in investigations.Learns and stays current with regulatory guidances and compendia relevant to laboratories and pharmaceutical manufacturing.Conducts routine laboratory analyses: finished product testing, stability testing, raw material testing, cleaning verification testing and manufacturing in-process testing.Typical activities may include buffer/solution preparation, standard preparation and operating analytical instruments: HPLC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, GC and dissolution tester, melting point apparatus, viscometer, Karl Fischer titrator, pH meter, analytical balance, etc. Uses laboratory software for analyses.Provides general laboratory support such as routine instrument cleaning/preventative maintenance/calibration, sample receiving, chemical inventory, document filing and housekeepingCleans lab working surfaces and disposes of any excess chemicals, solutions, solvents, etc. in the special waste containers for each class of waste chemicals.Under close supervision, learns to troubleshoot basic instrument problems.With guidance, participates in OOS/OOT/NOE and other investigations.Elevates questionable sample results, OOS, and aberrant results immediately to Supervisor.May assist in drafting, editing, and reviewing SOPs and laboratory investigations.Maintains assigned training records current and in-compliance.May assist in the training of less senior laboratory staff.Performs assigned work in a timely and safe manner conforming to regulatory, company and compendiaI requirements within pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.Document accurately data generated in notebooks/worksheets/LIMS in compliance with SOPs.Follows internal processes related to controlled substances continuous.Follows EH&S procedures to ensure a safe work environment.Follows all applicable safety and standards guidelines, such as SOPs, cGMP, DEA regulations good documentation practice and/or MSDS continuous.Requirements:Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the job.Bachelor of Science Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or related field with analytical chemistry coursework required. Some pharmaceutical laboratory experience preferred.Proficiency in a body of information required for the job.e.g. knowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/GCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.Proficiency with various laboratory techniques/instruments: HPLC, UV-Vis, FT-IR, GC and dissolution tester, melting point apparatus, viscometer, Karl Fischer titrator, pH meter, analytical balance, etc. Basic knowledge of wet chemistry techniques.Knowledge of applicable safety and standards guidelines: SOP, cGMP, GLP, DEA regulations and/or MSDS.Competency in Microsoft Office Suite.Often referred to as “competencies”, leadership attributes, skills, abilities or behaviors that may be enterprise, functional or job specific e.g. coaching, negotiation, calibration, technical writing etc.Ability to display and analyze data in a logical manner.Good verbal and written communication skills as well as good computer skills.Attention to details and accurate record keeping.Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with othersSolid organizational skills.Ability to take initiative, set priorities and follow through on assignments.Physical & mental requirements e.g., lift 40 pounds, walk across plant/warehouse, business travel (% of time), driving as part of work responsibilities, etc.Extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing/balancing, kneeling/crouching/crawling, looking at monitor for extended periods, moderate noise levels and potential business travel. Work is in an FDA and DEA-regulated pharma lab environment with risk of exposure to various chemicalsMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 15-25 lbs.Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirators, gloves, etc. Specific visions abilities are required by this job include close vision and color vision.Ability to occasionally tolerate significant differences in temperature and/or humidity for short periods.
