Job description

Role Description


  • Support the strategic planning process in the local Affiliate. 
  • Analyze & report key manufacturing performance indicators and develop operation plans in capacity & resources for OB/LRP periods in order to fulfill customer requirements with optimum operations performance.
  • Consolidate affiliate's OB/RFs in terms of Manufacturing KPIs and HC.
  • Ensure timely data availability for Factory PDCA.
  • Support the deployment of OPEN+ across the factory in line with our client's OPEN+ Strategy, consolidate and align IOS deployment coordinating RTT affiliate teams and Pillars teams.
  • Monitor the impact of OPEN+ deployment in what concerns capability building and business impact.
  • Work with close relationship with communication representative in the design and implementation of the factory OPEN+ communication strategy.
  • Deliver value through adopting and improving our client's/region best practices in a standardized and systematic way.


Responsibilities


  • Support the preparation of the Affiliate Strategic Plan (LRP) aligned with our client's LRP, integrating functional activities which addresses key business needs and required resources serving as a frame for functional objective setting, KPI's and communication of priorities.
  • Support strategic & multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives (at local and regional level), which requires vision, creativity and a systematic and cross functional perspective. Prepare strategic analysis, scenarios, alternatives and business processes, re-design proposals, feasibility studies etc.(within the framework of the LRP process and/or pro-actively, based on emerging business needs and opportunities), in order to enable Affiliate manufacturing management to take appropriate decisions to achieve Zero Loss Journey objectives and improve manufacturing cost performance.
  • Maintain interface with central Ops functions (Capacity and Sourcing, PPMD, Customer Service, CoE, etc.): locally support and validate global initiatives, escalate 
  • Local strategic initiatives.
  • Cooperate with Operations in the preparation and collection of information regarding the Manufacturing Assumptions, the main Company KPIs and the productivity and cost optimization initiatives for accurate and timely financial processing.
  • Prepare the monthly reporting in cooperation with Ops Finance.
  • Act as site data integrity owner & closely work with Production team to ensure reliability of data Monitor and communicate regularly the impact of OPEN+ deployment in what concerns Capability Building status and business impact.
  • Ensure efficient communication and visualization on OPEN+ strategy, roadmap and actions to guarantee maximum awareness.
  • Engage management teams and key stakeholders into communications plans.
  • Drive the follow-up of Productivity and Cost Optimization Initiatives process within the Factory, working closely with all departments and initiative leaders in ensuring the budgeted delivery of productivity savings and overall Regional targets. 
  • Drive ideation workshops with all departments and employees in the continuous search for Productivity initiatives and ways of optimizing processes and products.
  • Follow-up and report the implementation of Stage Gate Manufacturing Productivity 
  • Initiatives and other Manufacturing strategic plans. Support the timely adjustment of plans.
  • Prepare the presentations, for affiliate management team meetings. Support strong cross functional relationship within and outside of Operations in ensuring timely and consistent communication throughout Ops planning community.
  • Promote and apply all rules concerning our client's Quality, environment, health and safety.
  • Report all situations requiring actions in order to minimize or eliminate risks exposure to personnel, company assets and societal impacts and be in line with or ahead of any applicable Law requirements and Company standards.
  • lead the collection of machine performance parameters and optimize the schedules of the various Manufacturing resources such as available manning, calendars for Maintenance, Trainings, Trials, and Engineering to provide Site Integrated Planning (SIP) team the necessary manufacturing constraints on resources as an input for production planning in SIP.
  • Coordinate on daily basis with SIP resolution of production plan deviations according to DDS and on weekly basis validation and optimization of production plan provided by SIP.


Requirements


  • Entry level of the job requires supervision to perform the responsibilities of the job. Has basic knowledge about operations processes, KPI's, budget preparation. 
  • Works with wide autonomy. Expected to provide guidance on budgets, KPI’s improvements to less experienced professionals, and can coordinate the work of others.
  • Has strong business acumen, strategic thinking, initiates and coordinates process improvements and independently leads multifunctional projects. Acts as process owner.
  • Master degree in Engineering, Finance or similar education
  • 1-3 years in Manufacturing/Operations environment, preferably in multinational companies. Experiences in Production, Management Control, Lean Manufacturing or Operations Analysis and Reporting is a plus
  • Fluent in both French & English .
  • Customer Focus and Action Oriented.
  • Organizational Agility & Efficiency.
