Staff R&D/Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customer to quickly generate new connection solution design.
• Prepare product design document, such as: PRD, DV/PV plan, Product review, Initial BOM, DFMEA and Significant Characteristic. 
• Perform engineering calculations to analyze and describe product to ensure robust design with economic cost.
• Regenerate existing products with new solutions to improve competitive advantage. 
• Understanding product testing procedures and equipment, reviewing evaluation or test report and confirming accuracy of report contents to ensure product meets quality specification.
• Support new product technical data output, such as: 3D, 2D drawing and Design objective. 
• New technical solutions study and research, such as LV high current, Al application, FFC application

Requirements:

• Education: B.S. of Engineering or Master Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Qualification & Certification: Patents as first author
• Experience: 5+ experience on connector design.
