Responsibilities:
Audit Support:
- As part of the Annual Financial (external) audit process, the accounting department is requested by our external auditor to provide supporting documentation and audit evidence. In this role you are responsible for
- preparation of audit schedules and collection of the supporting documents.
Depending on the region (APR/EMEA) the audit support can include, but is not limited to:
- Collecting supporting documentation for the Order to Cash Process and the Procure to Pay Process.
- Maintaining overview of the status of the requested supporting documentation and follow up on outstanding documents.
- Reporting progress of the requested supporting documentation and escalate issues, to the accounting teams in EMEA and APR.
- Liaise with and escalate to, in case of missing documents, with the logistics and customer services department in EMEA and APR.
Accounting Support:
- Responsible for running repetitive transactions with some guidance, across a large number of legal entities, potentially regionally independent
- Preparation and maintenance of assigned balance sheet accounts
- Manage cash clearing and other in transit accounts
- Preparation of accounts reconciliations
- Calculation and preparation of standard and ad hoc journal entries such as , but not limited to accruals and prepayments
- Any other transactional accounting tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Looking for a candidate with minimum 2 - 5 years of accounting or auditing experience within a multinational company.
- User knowledge of PC based and mainframe computer systems, preferably SAP R3 and Microsoft office.
- Fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A team player, being able to work independently, accurately and with tight deadlines.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving skill sets, including the capacity to apply analyze accounting process for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Has a "can-do" attitude, pro-active, flexible mind-set.
