Sr. Software Engineer – Cloud

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and extend our existing suite of internal frontend and backend tools.
• Build new applications using the latest frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and specifications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, security, and maintainability of our code.
• Craft comprehensive and clear documentation to ensure the clarity and maintainability of our projects, demonstrating strong written and communication skills and attention to detail. 
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams on tooling related issues and projects.

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a full-stack engineer, building and maintaining secure and reliable frontend and backend applications.
• Extensive experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Python.
• Proficiency in API design principles, RESTful API design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
