Sr MFG & Process DVL Engineer - Automation Mechanical

Responsibilities:

Equipment design and debugging reception

• Work with vendors to set up/debug automation machine; Timely feedback and solve the problem to ensure the progress of the project

Technical support

• Provide technical support to manufacturing during pilot run and production start-up/change over

Problem solving

• Problem identification and trouble-shooting a wide range of complex mechanical problems for automation line
• Responsible for the effective communication across the company

Training guidance

• Instruct technicians and participate in automatic line maintenance and product changeover work
• Line maintenance/change over together with/guiding the technicians to make sure automation machine run smoothly

Requirements:

Education, Technical Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor degree, major in mechanical engineering/automation/mechatronics, the academic requirements can be relaxed for outstanding candidates
• Minimum 5 years of experience w/ automated assembly machines, skilled in fixture/jig design and trouble-shooting for automation machine;
• Familiar with Vision Inspection (Keyence/Cognex), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Pneumatics, sensors, motors and other motion control devices and components selection;
• Robot knowledge will be a plus;
• Interfacing knowledge between mechanical and electrical;
• Familiar with Pro-E or SolidWorks, AutoCAD software to create 2D and 3D drawing;
• Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills, good interpersonal skills.
• English skills, able to ready technical materials in English.
