Job description

Responsibilities:


  • To drive business development through strategic consulting. Need assessment, identifying and driving new business opportunities in the specified market
  • Lead business acquisition specific pre-selling activities
  • Analyze existing product and markets in terms of ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue and sustain or grow profitability
  • Generate new RFQ’s, lead CFT for technical agreements and get costing done, quote and negotiate pricing and contractual terms/ conditions with customers
  • To close new business deals by coordinating requirements, discussing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations to promote business growth
  • Prepare lessons learned after each acquisition, incl. won/lost analysis
  • SWOT analysis of competitors in the region considering their pricing and capabilities, customer requirements, regional market/ government enforcements. Analyze SoM in defined region and SoB at each customer
  • To develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business in the market and achieve sales target
  • Explore new product lines in alignment with strategy department inline with capabilities to grow business
  • Lead CFT to ensure satisfactory resolution of all quality / supply related customer issues.
  • To ensure maximum customer satisfaction by ascertaining adherence to QCDM goals
  • To maintain strong networking and good relationship with customers


Requirements:


  • 12-17 Years in business development at reputed tier1 suppliers (preferably engine/ powertrain components)
  • Experience of business development with 4WH OEM’s is must along with experience on handling their Tier 1’s
