Sr. Financial Analyst Seating

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for China new business acquisition and growth by providing solid financial analysis.
• Co-work with function team closely including sales, operation, purchasing, engineering, and plant finance team to develop the business case for all new business quotes
• Review overall programs cost development and ensure it is done properly according to actual or solid estimate through input from purchasing or benchmark data.
• As key communication interface, make sure projects’ engineering proposal /manufacturing footprint/make or buy assumption/commercial terms/commodity economics/ logistic concept etc. are consistent.
• Work with operation team for the most cost-effective manufacturing strategy as per multiple factors – JV relationship, manufacturing footprint, volume, VI (vertical component) content etc.
• Keep close communication with operation and plant finance team to understand the labor and overhead cost structure.
• Work with industrial engineering team to make sure capacity, investment, and cycle time etc. are consistent with volume/engineering assumption.
• Provide optimization suggestions to purchasing, engineering and operations to optimize the cost.
• Provide financial study on business case through Sensitivity / Scenario analysis.
• Proactively participate in the discussion with commercial team on quoting language to make sure all the key assumptions are properly reflected in the quote letter and company is not exposed to major risks.
• Work closely with Plant Controller for program financial assumption deliverable.
• Communicate with sales leader for pricing strategy and get APO commercial finance/sales leads approval all APR/quotations.
• Support the management decision by providing strategic analysis.

Requirements:

• Finance background with experience in FP&A, in manufacture industry
• Solid experience on new program quote
• Good Mandarin and English verbal / written communication skills
• Good communication skill with multi-function and China local team
• Strong analytical mind and presentation skills
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
• 5 years+ working experience in MNCs in Auto Industry Company with cross-functional departments in program financial control and costing / financial analysis role
• Full experience and knowledge on product and process for complete seat
• Familiar with manufacturing cost management and procedures.
