Job description
Responsibilities:
- Offering Enhanced Solution Delivery to Process Automation, Power Transmission & Distribution, and Power Generation industries helping customers jumpstart to digital focusing on asset optimization, efficiency and & thereby cost savings.
- Dealing with customers on solutions that have a combination of technology and business process re-engineering that comprises end-end solutions covering IT (CRM platforms, Enterprise Content Management), OT, Security, Cloud Technologies, Data Analytics, and dash-boarding / visualization solutions, Smart Manufacturing/Industry 4.0
- Participating and presenting in industry-specific events while liaising with key stakeholders in Govt sectors and building Go-To-Market plans.
- Assessing future market trends in the industry and offering recommendations and closely working with internal sales to build a healthy funnel of projects.
- Explore AI, Digital Twins, etc. to gain insights and strategic competitive advantage& drive strategic initiatives with large accounts and end-user seminars.
- Closely work with the internal strategic team to support and build eco-system partners to enhance solutions and customer experience.
- Engaging with customers, and consultants, and mapping key stakeholders in an organization to educate and promote company solutions & being a speaker to present company Enhanced Solutions to customers and industry events.
- Managing end-to-end operations in the visualization of the shop floor to ensure enhanced production efficiency, quality, and reduced downtime.
Requirements:
- Education – Degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 10+ years’ sales experience in the Automation sector.
- Markets – Technically strong and familiar with smart manufacturing that covers – IoT, networking, security, edge, and cloud solutions.
- Should understand the entire automation process from the field to the control center/cloud. Experience in project sales with industry connections at every level with End Users, Consultants, System Integrators, and EPCs.
- Relevant knowledge of field-level process areas in manufacturing will be an added advantage.
- Customers Define our Success – Should be able to independently conduct presentations and should be good at articulating business cases to customers/partners and senior management.
- Organizational leadership skills - aggressive in achieving results, while collaborating and communicating effectively with other members of the team and partners.
- Relevant Industry Experience – Process, Pharma, Metal, Mining, CPG, Cement, and other manufacturing industries.
- Strong connections with consultants will be an added advantage.
- Must have connections with C-level executives at the end-user level.
- Should have connections with major SIs and EPC contractors in this space.
- A good social network will be preferred.
