Sr Aircraft Structural Engineer

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct the needed analysis for the sizing, design, analysis and optimization of structural components and complete assemblies in the domains of development, production support and in-service support.
• Plan and participate in structural tests, vibration and other system dynamic tests, material tests, and other.
• Develop and maintain numerical tools needed to meet the task objectives.
• Prepare the necessary documentation (simulation results, calculation procedures, test plans and reports, software documentation, project deliverables, certification, and qualification documentation, etc.).

Requirements:

• Holds at least a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred) with relevant experiences in structures and materials science.
• Several years (minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and analysis (within the aviation industry is an advantage).
• Is comfortable reviewing and approving aircraft structure repair drawings.
• Experience with FEM software (Python/MATLAB/C would be an advantage).
• Knowledge of applicable airworthiness regulations (experience with CS-23/25 is an advantage).
• Has strong, written and spoken, communication skills in English.
• Is a dynamic person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good judgment.
• Is self-starter, team player, well organized and customer oriented.
