Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisory:
- Uncover C-level stakeholder objectives: Work closely with senior executives to understand their business goals and challenges, developing tailored solutions that align with their strategic priorities.
- Develop compelling business cases: Craft business cases that highlight the value of proposed solutions, demonstrating clear ROI and impact on organizational performance.
- Deliver thought leadership on industry trends: Provide valuable insights and thought leadership on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within the industry, positioning the company as a trusted advisor.
- Build trust with decision-makers: Establish and nurture strong relationships with C-level executives, ensuring ongoing collaboration and mutual trust.
Sales & Pre-Sales:
- Assess client needs and respond to RFPs: Engage with clients to assess their needs, gather requirements, and effectively respond to RFPs with well-crafted solutions.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations: Conduct engaging and informative product demonstrations that clearly showcase the value of the solution to clients.
- Identify growth opportunities in accounts: Continuously identify opportunities for expanding business within existing accounts, fostering long-term relationships and driving growth.
- Contribute to pricing and contract strategy: Work closely with sales teams to develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts that align with both client needs and company objectives.
Communication & Influence:
- Convey complex ideas through storytelling: Present complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling, and relatable manner, using storytelling to engage and inform stakeholders.
- Rally teams around shared vision: Inspire and align cross-functional teams around a common vision, ensuring cohesive collaboration towards shared goals.
- Navigate challenging conversations with senior stakeholders: Handle difficult conversations with senior executives, stakeholders, or clients with tact, empathy, and professionalism.
- Tailor presentations for C-suite impact: Develop and deliver high-impact presentations tailored to the specific needs and expectations of C-suite executives.
Technical Expertise:
- Craft innovative and scalable solutions: Design and propose innovative, scalable solutions that address client needs while aligning with industry best practices.
- Conceptualize and communicate architectural blueprints: Create and communicate clear and actionable architectural blueprints that guide solution implementation and execution.
- Develop phased implementation strategies: Develop comprehensive phased implementation strategies that ensure smooth deployment and alignment with client timelines.
- Bridge the gap between technical and executive communication: Effectively translate technical details into language that resonates with business and executive stakeholders, ensuring clear communication across all levels.
Project Leadership:
- Lead and drive teams through Agile/Waterfall lifecycles: Lead cross-functional teams in delivering projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Identify and mitigate project risks: Proactively identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Drive consensus among diverse stakeholders: Facilitate consensus-building among diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the project.
- Develop and implement change management strategies: Lead the development of change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new solutions within client organizations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Solution Consultant or similar role at a reputable consultancy or Big4 firm, focusing on Singapore government or large-scale commercial sector enterprises.
- Strong understanding of sales, pre-sales, and client-facing activities.
- Experience in strategic advisory and delivering thought leadership to senior executives.
- Expertise in crafting technical solutions and bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
- Proficiency in project management, with experience leading teams through both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to C-suite executives.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a globally distributed environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven approach to client engagements.
- Performed as the Solution Consultant Lead for deals larger than $5~$10 million.
