The Role: 

• As Solution Architect for Frontend, you are responsible for good practices of software engineering as well as adherence to the Non-Functional Requirements framework in your Product team. Relentless drive to reduce and avoid technical debt is baked into your mission.
• You are accountable to define the Product’s technical roadmap and support Product Vision creation, guiding the product team along the journey and supporting their work by providing technical frameworks.
• You are very experienced on the technical side but also can influence Domain Architecture. You are skilled in change management and horizontal leadership to evolve the practices across Product Group's teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture discussions around frontend product, working closely with other architects, developers, and IT leads.
• Assess existing solutions and architectures, proposing improvements or migrations as necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate these into technical requirements.
• Advise global business owners during business processes definition to improve the usage of standard technology solution functionalities.
• Drive opportunities to improve architecture domain (e.g. opportunities to reduce duplication, consolidate applications and platforms, improve operational deficiencies, improve automation, close existing capability gaps, etc.) and take accountability to ensure domain architecture is in line with Security and Compliance policies and procedures.
• Support Technical Leads to develop detailed and complete functional specifications for complex uses cases within the Product technological landscape.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging threats, and technologies in the realm of frontend channels.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in solution architecture with at least 1 year specifically focused on consumer engagement frontend channels.
• Deep understanding of one or more JavaScript framework and libraries, such as React, Vue or Angular.
• Experience with CMS platforms like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or similar. Additional experience with headless CMS platforms will be beneficial.
• Experience with different API protocols such as REST APIs and GraphQL.
• A keen understanding of the cybersecurity landscape with a focus on frontend abuse/misuse.
• Expertise on architecture transformation, modular/composable architecture, evolutionary architecture and working in a product-based setup.
• Strong Enterprise IT architecture background (processes, data, methodologies, frameworks).
• Experience in crafting solution architecture with SaaS/PaaS, custom built, AWS applications and in working in projects that are using Agile and DevOps standard methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Confident with the ability to influence and persuade.
• Analytical and results focused.
• Experience of both reacting to and solving problems.
• An understanding of how complex matrixed organizations operate; international experience is an advantage.
