Senior Test Engineer

Overview:

• The job responsibility is for testing software and hardware products in the field of Industrial Automation. 
• The role will be instrumental to manage and execute system and interoperability testing for various product lines working closely with a wide set of global employees, and engineering partners. 
• The Incumbent will coordinate all the testing activities in India for the product working very closely with the Senior QA Manager- System Validation.

Responsibilities:

• You develop and execute Test strategy in cooperation with the Engineering Center management stakeholders and analyze, structure and prioritize requirements according to project needs
• You ensure you design test cases based on user stories and acceptance criteria
• You should strive for continuous improvements and expand test automation.
• You would drive the System Integration lab for multiproduct Testing
• You would mentor junior test engineer and drive delivery
• Carry out project planning and controlling in cooperation with the project team in an agile development environment
• Coordinate and execute with other Validation office employees and project test team members to carry out continuous improvement measures according to lean principles
• Closely partner on a global scale with, our Indian development service provider, Development team & product line management to drive the project delivery and management as well as local strategic initiatives.
• Define Project KPI, Track and manage them to closure. Define SMART Priorities and execute. Drive Self and Organization goals through his /her teams

Requirements:

• Education – Completed university studies from Tier 1 Reputed institute with focus on computer science, electrical engineering or communications engineering with extraordinary results, and having excellent business acumen.
• Experience –Atleast 4 years of experiencein Software testing test automation and in testing network management systems, preferably in an agile environment, and experience in the product development of embedded software and hardware, preferably network technology or telecommunications devices in industrial automation
• Managing a small test group would be added advantange
• Personality – Strong communication skills and assertiveness in negotiations, entrepreneurial thinking, flexibility and willingness to travel
• First knowledge about lean and key performance measurements
• Language proficiency – Fluency in English (written and spoken)
