Senior Life Cycle Analysis Scientist (TOC)

Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. It has its branches spread to more than 50 countries, providing employment to more than 68,500 people all over the world. They fall under the Fortune 500 Companies. They are one of the world’s largest oil producers. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

• Build energy systems models and perform detailed life cycle analysis (LCA) of different petroleum, natural gas, hydrogen, and e-fuel pathways.
• Lead collaborative research with universities and research institutions for increased intellectual property opportunities and future business advancement of our client.
• Publish peer-reviewed articles in high impact journals and present at conferences.
• Maintain and expand working knowledge of applicable software for programming (Matlab, Python, VB Excel, R), data analysis, and visualization.
• Provide and manage a safe, accident-free office environment; follow all company safety rules in performing job duties.
• Participate in major investigative projects as assigned.
• Perform other miscellaneous related duties as requested.

Requirements:

• B.S. Degree (PhD preferred but not required) in Science/Engineering/Physics/Mathematics Discipline as appropriate for the area of expertise for the assigned job.
• Seven years (7) experience in a substantive industrial, technological or research area relevant to the energy sector.
• Candidate should be comfortable in working independently or part of a project team, frequent project presentation and travel to meetings at conferences and universities
• Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette.
• Must be able to communicate and comprehend English accurately, clearly and concisely at a level required to perform the job as outlined.
