Our Client operates in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Singapore. It has its branches spread to more than 5 countries, providing employment to 250 people. Their core business is to represent their client in countries that they do not operate in, and market/sell their products for them. They have achieved a wide client base in a very short time, and are looking for new talent.
Job description
Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales revenue targets.
- To monitor and evaluate the sales performance of the team, ensuring individual and team targets are consistently met.
- Conduct regular reviews to provide feedback on performance gaps and requirements for improvement
- Manage and monitor progress of sales activities, including market hygiene versus client budget and store call cycles.
- Implement customized solutions based on changing markets and trends
- Identify product gaps and improvement opportunities based on lost sales data, customer feedback C more.
- To lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, fostering their professional growth and enhancing their performance.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies and plans (e.g. plan sales routes, new customer generation, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories
- To build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Assist in negotiations C deal closing.
- Manage customer issue resolutions and recommend preventive actions to minimize future incidents
- To analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- To collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and educational programs. Provide market feedback to internal team to better understand customers requirements C to leverage cross-product/industry business opportunities.
- To represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote company products and services.
- To ensure adherence to the company’s policies and compliance standards, maintaining high levels of integrity within the team.
- To prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management for informed decision-making.
- Assist in all other duties/projects as directed from superior and/or management from time to time
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Pharmacy, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years sales experience in related sales FMCG environment/ Modern Trade / General Trade with managing people experiences
- Proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint) is a must
- Prior experience in the healthcare/medical industry dealing with professionals such as doctors and pharmacists is preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills of minimum 2 years.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Analytical skills and business acumen to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions.
- Ability to work and travel independently, adapting to dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools for planning and reporting purposes.
- Commitment to upholding company policies and compliance with industry regulations.
- Possess strong influencing/persuasiveness abilities
