Job description

Responsibilities:


  • Selling, negotiating, and executing business plans.
  • This position will partner with key decision-makers.
  • Leveraging business intelligence data including analytical tools, excel and powerpoint you will create a selling story to drive the business for your customers and the client
  • Drive results.
  • You will be responsible for delivering on key metrics such as POS (Point of Sale) budget, call coverage, and maintaining “perfect shelf” strategy.
  • Create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage during store hours.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards to maximize sales and enhance the store’s appearance.
  • Building relationships.
  • You’ll be a champion for the Organization by implementing creative ideas and innovative solutions to overcome roadblocks and selling within the grocery landscape.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent, with fundamental technology skills such as Microsoft Office applications
  • Learning agility, robust problem solving, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated self-reliance by successfully managing projects from inception to completion, consistently achieving goals without constant supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • This is a driving role which requires the use of a personal vehicle. To meet the requirements of the role, you must have 2 or less moving violations within the last 36 months
  • Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending, or carrying moderately heavy items (20-25 pounds) with or without reasonable accommodation. An extended work schedule could be asked which may include some night, weekend and early morning hours  This role is not a team management role.
  • This is a field sales role primarily dealing with grocery stores and working with store managers.
  • Candidates need to have a competitive mindset, ambitious, someone who comes with good sales skills.
  • Candidate’s responsibility is to make sure there is a good efficient display of the products, in the store, upselling endcaps and promotional items.
  • There are around 40 to 50 retails stores in a particular area and approx. stops per day would be 6 or 7 stores.
