Job description

Responsibilities:


  • Define, drive, and support changes to improve distributor business competitiveness and customer value 
  • Establishing new distributors where needed to optimize go to market channels to realize business growth 
  • Accountable for market data, segments and information needed to support business and market share growth in each country within the area of responsibility 
  • Understand Distributors customer needs holistically.
  • Proactively develop the position, brand awareness in distributor countries Identifying growth opportunities by building relationship with key customers in the assigned area.
  • Support and Develops position in his/her customer base or market area.
  • Create and track strategic sales growth targets with distributors.
  • Business planning and forecasting for the area.
  • Define and implement pricing policies for the distributors in line with unit targets.
  • Lead and develop programs for strategizing sales and ensure the progress and execution of development plan and roadmaps together with sales.
  • Accountable for driving opportunity pipeline in early stages of the customer journey and throughout the decision-making process to grow the sales funnel, maximize profitability and share of market.
  • Collaborate with both distributor sales and regional development teams to ensure product development is meeting market demands and pricing strategies are tailored to capture value propositions.
  • Responsible for gathering and documenting (e.g., to CRM) relevant information about the market and competitors.
  • Ensure data visibility, accuracy, and reporting for periodic business review meetings.
  • Lead meetings and negotiations with stakeholders and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organization’s business interests.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering
  • 7+ years of relevant working experience in business development or sales role in a similar B2B within building /construction systems industry. 
  • (Elevators and Escalators, Electromechanical construction products / systems, Air Conditioning systems, HVAC systems, Plumbing, Electrical distribution and power systems, power generators, 
  • Building Management Systems, Building controls and automation, Security systems for 
  • buildings, construction material … ect)
  • Working closely within a distribution environment managing distributor business in related industries across NWA with focus on growth.
  • Experience in souring and onboarding new distributors in both current and new markets.
  • Excellent understanding of value selling techniques to building consultants, developers and contractors.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence customers and colleagues.
  • Hands on with the ability to work independently and propose alternatives and solutions.
  • Excellent French and English language skills.
  •  Willingness to travel up to 50% across the region.
