Purchasing Supervisor SENSE

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the activities of the purchasing team for production materials, national or imported.
• Create a productivity plan for the purchase of direct materials for better price conditions and payment terms (Negotiations with suppliers / New suppliers / Contracts / MOQ, etc.).
• Be responsible for supporting the team in the company's integration process for a new group, while creating a strategy to increase productivity in the purchase of direct materials.
• Interact with purchasing teams from other regions to be aligned with global opportunities that other regions are working on, and bring them to your region when applicable.
• Approve purchase orders within your approval limit.
• Ensure that the team acts in accordance with the policies established by the company.
• Support the team in developing new sources of supply, establishing and maintaining commercial agreements.
• Establish and monitor the area's performance indicators, provide management information to the Board of Directors, build the budget and control the area's expenses.
• Coordinate VOC research with relationship areas to understand the needs of internal customers.
• Monitor the financial performance of suppliers, seeking to minimize risks to the business.
• Support buyers in complex negotiation processes.
• Coordinate the updating of standards and technical documents with suppliers, in accordance with quality standards.
• Monitor Material Productivity indicators, report and take actions to ensure that the plan follows as established.
• Monitor suppliers' performance on the Score Card regarding Quality, Delivery and Costs, as well as act jointly with related Areas in improvement actions.
• Oversee the company's sourcing process to ensure implementation of sourcing plans and policies.
• Be a talent coach/mentor for sales organization. Responsible for continuing to develop and enhance the team through challenging Projects, Experience and Exposure.

Requirements:

• Completed degree in Administration, logistics, production engineering or related areas.
• Postgraduate degree in the desired area.
• Have a collaborative, participative, motivating profile, and be hands-on when necessary.
• Knowledge of SAP purchasing modules (knowledge of TOTVS will also be a plus).
• Solid knowledge in negotiations and processes of national and imported direct purchases.
• Previous experience with management of purchasing teams in industries.
• Advanced English for conversation.
• Availability for hybrid work in Santa Rita do Sapucaí - MG.
