Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical and commercial support to internal (sales, product management production, and engineering) and external customers for all the Smart Grid/Grid Monitoring Solutions Products.
• Interpret customers' specifications to select or create the correct TE Smart Grid/Grid Monitoring Solutions Product for their application and provide technical product support.
• Support developing specifications and sales support materials including but not limited to installation instructions, data sheets, cross references, etc.
• Coordinate prototypes for testing with engineering and provide technical assistance to design feasibility and work with the Product Manager to make recommendations for necessary changes.
• Manage new part number creation process for Smart Grid/Grid Monitoring Solutions Products.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a product management, technical support, manufacturing engineering, application engineering, and/or technical sales, preferably in power grids, smart grids, or electrical distribution.

Technical Skills:

• Required: Strong technical understanding of electrical engineering principles and applications.
• Preferred: Knowledge of power grids and distribution grids.
• Preferred: Understanding of smart grids, and grid monitoring. Other Skills &

Competencies:

• Driven to identify and resolve issues
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and product teams. • Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus
