Responsibilities:
Strategy Development
- Develop and drive the HVCA product portfolio strategy for the AMS region, ensuring scalable, profitable, and above-market growth.
- Create product roadmaps and innovation strategies in collaboration with R&D.
- Develop efficient product supply strategies, including stocking proposals aligned with market needs.
- Translate global trends and local insights into actionable strategies, focusing on customer needs and competition.
- Lead the development and execution of business plans, ensuring alignment across teams and geographies.
- Identify and support the assessment of M&A target companies.
Operational Excellence
- Manage P&L for the assigned product portfolio in AMS, ensuring revenue growth and gross margin expansion.
- Optimize product lines through rationalization and cost reduction programs.
- Conduct financial analysis of the responsible product portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) aligns with organizational objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on product range performance against key performance metrics (e.g., revenue growth, margin, new product sales).
- Drive product acceptance and approval with all target customers.
Market and Innovation Leadership
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer feedback.
- Drive new product developments, automation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Identify and pursue business expansion opportunities, including FTAM expansion, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct market research to define optimized pricing levels for new products.
- Obtain and coordinate market/customer requirements through Voice of Customer (VOC) meetings.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in product management or business development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Strong understanding of the global energy market, specifically power generation, distribution, and transmission.
- Knowledge of the high-voltage market is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel (up to 20% in LAM & NAM regions).
- Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working within an international matrix organization.
- Must be based in the United States.
