Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and drive the HVCA product portfolio strategy for the AMS region, ensuring scalable, profitable and above market growth and long-term financial success.
- Create product roadmaps and innovation strategies in collaboration with R&D,
- Work out efficient product supply strategies including stocking proposals according to market needs.
- Translate global trends and local insights into actionable strategies, with a focus on understanding customer needs
- and competition.
- Lead the development and execution of business plans, ensuring alignment across teams and geographies.
- Identify and support assessment of M&A target companies.
Operational Excellence:
- Manage P&L for the responsible portfolio in AMS, focusing on revenue growth and gross margin expansion.
- Optimize product lines through rationalization and cost reduction programs.
- Perform financial analysis of the responsible product portfolio
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) aligns with broader
- organizational objectives.
- Compiles and presents regular reports on the performance of the product range against the relevant key
- performance metrics (revenue growth, margin, new product sales, etc.).
- Drive product acceptance and approval with all target customers
Market and Innovation Leadership:
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes and portfolios, and customer feedback.
- Drive new product developments, automation, and sustainable practices.
- Identify and pursue business expansion opportunities, including FTAM expansion, M&A, and strategic partnerships.
- Facilitates market research to define the optimized pricing levels for the new product range.
- Obtains and coordinates market / customer requirements through VOC meetings.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in product management or business development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
- Good understanding of the global energy market, with specific knowledge of power generation, distribution, and transmission.
- Knowledge in the high-voltage market is beneficial
- Entrepreneurship combined with strategic thinking
- Ability to work remotely with occasional travel (up to 20% in the LAM & NAM region).
- Location close to Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina is ideal • Good communication skills (Spanish would be a plus)
- Experience working within an international matrix organization • Applicants must be US base
