Responsibilities:
As People Business Partner, you will be expected to work in close partnership with the business leaders and the rest of the P&C community of the site to:
- Coach and advise market leadership to shape and enable the people agenda and business strategy, by guiding them on strategic planning activities.
- Anticipate and identify business needs and challenges on market level.
- Contribute to global strategic activities, such as workforce and succession planning, talent and leadership development, culture, D&I by providing market view and context.
- Collaborate with COEs to shape and if required tailor global solutions and best practice solutions by providing market business context and ensure that business needs are met.
- Talent Acquisition – Provide local input to understand and shape requirements for respective workforce segment and partner with TA teams for hiring of L4+ talent (including select L3 roles) for respective market GF.
- Talent Management – Support activation of talent priorities in alignment with the North Star Talent Strategy.
- Know Accelerate and selected Advance talents for respective market.
- Build manager capability in assessing potential and strengthening succession of Leadership pipeline. Advise leaders and employees on career development and talent activities. (approx. time spent on Talent is 30-40%)
- Insights – Advise business based on data and insights and leverage local people insights and analytics for strategic P&C agenda within respective area of responsibility and to provide voice of the customer.
- Org Design and Effectiveness - Coordinate and manage business and organization changes in site in conjunction with other People Business Partners at market level and OC&T
- Culture and DEI – Promote DEI and culture by driving programs and initiatives to increase engagement within respective market
- Employee Relations - Advise on cases and act as escalation point for cases in the site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience. Industrial Affairs experience in a pharma MNC setup is desirable.
- Great leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization & ability to represent P&C externally.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Fluent in English.
