Mfg & Process DVL Engineer II (Automation)

Responsibilities:

• Non-standard automatic equipment design and development, execute machine mechanism detail design and drawing, build, and execute automation design standard.
• Handle machine or auto assembly line establish by external automation suppliers.
• Platforming manufacturing process development.
• Challenge product design for manufacturability and cost feasibility.
• Launch product at rate through FACA/QCPA tools (yield, CPK, OEE…)
• Launch product on time with cross function team.
• Process documentation (DFM，FMEAs, WI, FACA/QCPC…)

Requirements:

• Experience in automating machinery. Strong programming capabilities, expertise in machine design, and a solid understanding of all machine components, including mechanical, electrical, and programming aspects. 
• Hands-on experience working with these components and the ability to drive improvements and automation within the system.
• Background in automating assembly machines, as well as experience with molding, stamping, and plating machines.
• Familiar with these processes—assembly, plating, molding, and stamping. But overall, the key requirement is strong machine automation experience.
• Background in machine design and a strong understanding of machine components, including electrical, mechanical, and programming capabilities.
• Candidates should present detailed portfolios showing their involvement in designing complex machinery, including visual representations like jigs and machine designs.
• Knowledge in PLC programming, Human machine interface. Know how to use 2D . 3Dsoftware
• Familiar with key manufacturing and engineering documents such as PFMEA, DFMEA, DFM, and FAA, which are critical for this role.
• Proficient in mechanical aspects, with the ability to work with 2D and 3D software such as Creo, Autodesk, and AutoCAD. These skills will be key in ensuring the candidate can contribute to both the design and automation processes effectively.
