Responsibilities:
Consultation and Advisory:
- Act as a strategic partner to business unit leaders, providing HR guidance and support.
- Collaborate with management to identify and address HR issues and challenges within the business unit.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and career development.
Talent Management:
- Partner with recruitment to identify staffing needs and participate in the selection process for key positions within the business unit.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
- Work with managers to assess and address skill gaps and development needs within the team.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a mediator in resolving employee conflicts and grievances.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions in response to employee relations issues.
- Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement within the business unit.
Performance Management:
- Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management best practices and strategies for improving employee performance.
HR Project Management:
- Lead HR projects and initiatives within the business unit, such as organizational change, restructuring, and culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment of HR programs and policies across the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a HRBP or similar role.
- 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with stakeholders to drive results.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred but not required.
