HR Business Partner & People Experience

Our client is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world. They are a globally trusted producer of high-quality, great-tasting, and nutritious foods for over 150 years. While they are co-headquartered in Chicago and Pittsburgh, their brands are truly global, with products produced and marketed in over 40 countries. These beloved products include condiments and sauces, cheese and dairy, meals, meats, refreshment beverages, coffee, infant and nutrition products, and numerous other grocery products in a portfolio of more than 200 legacy and emerging brands.

Responsibilities:

Consultation and Advisory:

• Act as a strategic partner to business unit leaders, providing HR guidance and support.
• Collaborate with management to identify and address HR issues and challenges within the business unit.
• Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and career development.

 Talent Management:

• Partner with recruitment to identify staffing needs and participate in the selection process for key positions within the business unit.
• Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
• Work with managers to assess and address skill gaps and development needs within the team.

 Employee Relations:

• Serve as a mediator in resolving employee conflicts and grievances.
• Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions in response to employee relations issues.
• Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement within the business unit.

 Performance Management:

• Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
• Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management best practices and strategies for improving employee performance.

HR Project Management:

• Lead HR projects and initiatives within the business unit, such as organizational change, restructuring, and culture initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment of HR programs and policies across the organization.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a HRBP or similar role.
• 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to influence and partner with stakeholders to drive results.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred but not required.
