Job description
Responsibilities:
- Management responsibility for hardware quality assurance, software quality assurance and quality control (15 employees).
- Ongoing planning, maintenance, monitoring, continuous improvement and further development of quality for the Development & Production departments.
- Co-designing and implementing the quality objectives developed with the management system managers.
- Defining and ensuring quality requirements in product development, product procurement and production (software and hardware).
- Processing and analysis of material returns and support in eliminating the causes of complaints.
- Conducting internal product/process audits and responsible for implementing improvements across the entire product life cycle.
- Responsibility for issuing EU Declarations of Conformity and generating compliance verification documentation.
- Participation in standards committees and ensuring the CE conformity of products.
- Production support for issues relating to RoHS, REACH, SVHC, POP,PFAS, etc., as well as Conflict Minerals.
- Support of the procurement department regarding supplier audits, quality and environmental contracts.
- Supporting the OEM department and the subsidiary in the UK on various topics.
- Responsibility for the procurement of product approvals.
- Contact point for test centers and authorities. (TÜV, UL, CSA, etc.).
Requirements:
- Completed training as an engineer specializing in electronics, mechatronics, electrical engineering or comparable training.
- Additional training in EMC, electrical safety, quality assurance, environmental management.
- Relevant knowledge of the current laws and standards for the abovementioned specialist areas.
- Management experience in the above-mentioned disciplines is an advantage.
- Project manager experience with technical responsibility for a project team
- Good application knowledge of Windows, MS Office.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High level of comprehension and analytical thinking
- Resilience and stamina.
- Very good knowledge of German and English. French an advantage.
