Job description

Responsibilities:


  • Proactively drives outstanding performance in Safety and Quality in Delivery Operations
  • Responsible for driving a culture of Safety and Quality throughout the organization
  • Accountable for the use of correct installation methods and tools by the installation team, and for proper risk assessment for parts of installation where method is not feasible
  • Establishes and promotes service-minded culture and outside-in thinking in Delivery Operations
  • Captures and feeds Voice of Customer throughout Delivery Operations
  • Manages customer disputes and escalations, and tracks NPI and transactional survey feedback
  • Leads, evaluates, and develops his/her operations team and professionals to achieve the established safety, quality, profitability, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals. Identifies and address competence development needs for project management and installation.
  • Accountable for his/her Delivery Operations team’s adherence to Company’s Way and standard ways of working requirements  
  • Sets individual targets and actions together with his/her team members using data and KPI’s to achieve the set objectives, as well as to identify waste, find root causes, and continually improve standard ways of working
  • Regularly performs Gemba walks on site and/or process audits to understand how Delivery Operations happen on site level, assesses deviations from standard ways of working (installation methods, safety policies and Way/Frontline processes), and allocates improvement opportunities to the team members
  • Ensures every member of the team follows standard ways of working
  • Drives efficient, safe, and high-quality installation operations in line with regulatory and methods, requirements, and site management practices
  • Responsible for Installation capacity planning
  • Accountable for optimized resource utilization (people and tools) 
  • Ensures that adds value to customers’ projects with seamless and reliable project delivery and proactive communication
  • Drives proactive, profitable, reliable, and efficient project management practices in line with methods.
  • Key responsibility will be overseeing all new business projects for UAE. 


Requirements:


  • Safety and quality management
  • Revenue recognition and relevant financial understanding
  • Customer relationship management
  • Installation portfolio management
  • Project management
  • Forecasting and capacity planning
  • Managing performance 
  • Basic knowledge of installation methods
  • Understanding of relevant laws, standards, norms and other requirements
  • General contractual understanding
  • Basic construction industry and building system knowledge
  • Change management, coaching and training skills
  • Subcontractor management
  • Lean fundamentals, lean thinking and continual improvement competence
  • Educational qualifications: Engineering background. 
  • English (Practitioner), Arabic Language preferred. 
  • Experience in leading people and leading managers (Operations Managers). 
  • PMP certification would be an added advantage.
