Role Overview:
- As the Head of Sales for Modernization Business, you will lead a talented sales team to achieve ambitious targets by developing and coaching team members, setting both short- and long-term goals, and building lasting customer relationships.
- You’ll drive proactive engagement, solution-based selling, and strategic market development, helping our client to elevate its impact in Dubai - UAE.
Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
- Shape and grow our market presence, expanding our customer base through proactive engagement.
- Lead solution-driven selling to address various customer needs across different segments, ensuring loyalty and satisfaction.
- Strategically manage top-tier customer relationships, identifying key influencers and decision-makers to build strong partnerships.
- Ensures the development of customer relationships, profitability, customer loyalty, and satisfaction.
Plan sales, manage pricing and offering:
- Oversee and craft regional and individual sales plans to align with market potential and strategic goals.
- Leverage market insights and pricing strategies to enhance profitability, balancing growth with competitive pricing.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for all solutions, driving a holistic approach to sales.
Manage Sales Funnel:
- Lead and optimize the sales process, including CRM data quality, opportunity management, and comprehensive reporting.
- Set achievable, strategic targets, focusing on customer analysis and tailored value propositions.
- Manage tender approvals and pricing strategies while using global tools to drive local success.
- Accountable for ensuring results within orders, contracts, profitability, and market price development
Leadership / People management:
- Leads the sales team to be proactive with customers, to use solution selling methodology, and to communicate the value of solutions to customers’ performance
- Coaches the team members to achieve better results through constant one-to-one dialogues and sharing of best practices
- Manages the performance of the team and ensures adequate resources to achieve short and long-term targets
- Develops the competencies of the sales team
- Motivates & inspires the team & individual to high performance
- Ensures a great onboarding experience for new employees on the team.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Industry Expertise: Over 10 years of sales experience within the Elevator Industry, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Leadership Excellence: Proven skills in leading and inspiring teams to achieve high performance.
- Sales Mastery: Deep understanding of the sales cycle, customer purchasing strategies, negotiation, reporting, and funnel management.
- Business Savvy: Strong foundation in business planning, performance control, and strategic thinking.
